Michelle Lawson - Registered Care Manager
My name is Michelle Lawson and I have been at Home Instead since 2011. I started as a Caregiver and progressed to where I am now as Registered Care Manager.
Part of my duties are to complete consultations, service reviews and quality assurance. Having worked in the care sector for 18 years for Care homes and local authorities, I bring to Home Instead a broad range of experience and knowledge.
I am passionate about my work at Home Instead Senior Care and want to help people remain as independent as possible within their own home and ‘Change the Face of Ageing’
I live locally with my 2 children and I enjoy spending my spare time with family and friends. I am also an animal lover so enjoy long walks with my dog and keeping fit.
David Bell - CAREGiver Experience Manager
My name is David and I joined the Home Instead team in 2020. My role is to recruit new CAREGivers in our local area to meet clients' needs and maintain Home Insteads high standards.
Born and raised in the area, I have worked in a number of roles within Cheshire in the sales and fitness industry. I enjoy meeting and working with a diverse range of people and this drew me to Home Instead. You meet so many interesting people from our CAREGivers, clients and all the local people in our local community that we engage with on a daily basis.
Outside of work my passions are fitness, all things sport, the great outdoors and spending time with my family.
Jill Walton - Field Care Supervisor
My name is Jill Walton and I started at Home Instead in February 2019. I started as a a CAREGiver which I thoroughly enjoyed and I have recently progressed to the role of Field Care Supervisor. This is an interesting role which involves visiting new clients, monitoring and supervising the quality of care that is delivered within Home Instead.
I have a background in General Nursing and I specialised in orthopaedics and then following this by learning about cardiac surgery. I left nursing to help manage the family farm which was open to the public.
I live locally with my husband and three children and in my spare time we look after our horses which we also attend and compete in competitions all round the country.
I love my job and enjoy working for Home Instead and help to change the face of Ageing.
Hannah Postlewhite - Client Co-ordinator
My name is Hannah Postlewhite and I have been at Home Instead as the Client Co-ordinator since December 2016.
I went to University to study fashion for 4 years and gained my BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Design & Technology. I lived in India for a year and upon my return, I got my first Job at Home Instead as a Caregiver in 2013 and found what I really loved to do.
I moved on to a new challenge in 2015 to work with young adults with Learning difficulties but when the role became available for the Client Co-ordinator at Home Instead I went for it.
Originally from Peterborough, I moved to the Northwich area 15 years ago and have never looked back. I live with my husband and when not at work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and going to watch Wigan Warriors.
Nikki Mercer - Recruitment & Retention Administrator
Nikki supports with the administration of recruitment, retention and training of our CAREGivers.
I have been with Home Instead Northwich & Knutsford since 2013., I started as a CAREGiver and I am now the Recruitment Administrator.
I have a background in Holistic Therapies and Sports Massage so I have always worked within the community. I am also proud to have volunteered for The Witness Service and Victim Support for many years.
I love my present role and feel able to convey how enjoyable and rewarding the role of CAREGiver is.
Amy Moss - Senior CAREGiver
My name is Amy Moss and I have been working in the care industry for over 3 years.
I joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2018 as a CAREGiver. I enjoy my job and I am passionate about helping our clients stay at home independently for as long as possible and also help to change the face of ageing.
In my new position as a Senior CAREGiver, my role is to ensure that the company and CQC standards for care are met. To ensure this I conduct Quality Support and Service review visits with the clients and work alongside the other office team members as well as providing care out in the community.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two children, exploring local walks and enjoy socialising with friends and family.
Sammy Murphy – Client Co-ordinator
My name is Sammy and I joined Home Instead as a CAREGIVER in July 2019. In July 2020, I changed role from a CAREGiver to a Client Co-ordinator.
I have worked in care for five years in total, and I am currently studying for my Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
In my spare time, I love to bake and go on days out with my fiancée and son. I can play the violin and had singing lessons for four years.
We have a fantastic team of committed, professional and reliable CAREGivers.
Most of our team have had personal experiences of caring for a loved one so they draw on this to encourage, assist, and stimulate our clients over a wide range of activities. Our CAREGivers aim to help improve our Clients quality of life and help them maintain as much independence as possible.
