Care Assistant

Rhyl Part-time 10.50 - 10.50 per hour Closing date: 26/08/2022

As a Care Professional for Home Instead you will have no two days the same. One day you could be taking clients shopping and then next be helping them around their home with their day to day lives and encouraging them with their chosen hobbies. 

We are looking for Care Professionals to work in the Rhyl, Prestatyn, Kinmel Bay areas. 

What you could be doing as a Care Professional: 

  • Helping our clients to get showered or washed and dressed ready for the day. 
  • Making meals, this could be breakfast, lunch or tea and plenty of snacks throughout the day. You don't need to be a Michelin star chef but basic cooking is required as we prefer to make fresh meals rather than using the Popty Ping!
  • Spending quality time with your client, talking about what is important to them over a cup of tea or coffee. Mental wellbeing is so important to us. 
  • Assisting with medication for those clients who may need it (full training is given). 
  • Getting clients out and about into the community and encouraging them to be mobile so they can stay active and healthy. 

What we can offer you: 

  • £10.50 an hour (£11.76 with holiday pay) time and a half on bank holidays 
  • Regular patterns for your shifts to encourage a work life balance- we don't want you to burn out! 
  • Hours ranging from full-time up to 40 hours or Part-time down to 10 hours and a mixture in-between- we're really flexible with this!

  • Full training to become a Care Professional plus additional bespoke Home Instead training in Dementia. Plus ongoing CPD in a variety of subjects.

Home Care Assistant

Abergele Full-time 10.50 - 10.50 per hour Closing date: 26/08/2022

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated Care professionals to work with our clients in Abergele and surrounding areas. 

No two days are ever the same at Home Instead but you will definitely see the same clients as continuity of care is extremely important to us for you to build positive relationships. 

We perform a variety of tasks for our clients and certainly NO 15 minute calls! 

We do house hold tasks such as: Cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, pet care, ironing. 

We do personal care such as: assisting to wash, bathe, shower, brush teeth, brush hair and help to get dressed after helping the client select a nice outfit for the day. 

We do activities such as: taking clients out shopping or for a coffee at a local café, helping with hobbies, taking to appointments. 

We help with medication for those clients that may need some assistance with the- but don't worry we give you full training for this.
