Home Instead launch live in care

Local home care company, Home Instead North Oxfordshire, is delighted to announce the launch of its new live-in care service.

The pandemic has highlighted the benefits of keeping seniors safe and well in their own homes. Home Instead has been able to do this through its relationship-led home care services, but its new live-in care package means they can now give ongoing company throughout the day for clients who need more support.

The home care company has seen demand for its services sky-rocket over the past year, and is subsequently recruiting new team members. As well as hourly caregivers, they are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to come onboard and provide their live-in care services.

The role of a live-in caregiver is to stay in the client’s own home day and night, helping them carry out tasks, and more importantly, providing a familiar face and a trusted companion. When not working their agreed hours, live-in caregivers are able to rest, sleep and enjoy regular daily activities that they would normally do.

Graham Holtom, co-owner of Home Instead North Oxfordshire, commented: “Many people have been looking for an alternative to care homes for their loved ones throughout the pandemic. Our live-in care service offers just that. It allows older people to stay in the comfort of their own home, around their familiar surroundings, all whilst receiving around the clock care from our specially trained caregivers.

“With many sectors facing turbulence due to the effects of the pandemic, it’s a troubling time for many as they see an uncertain future for their employment. People at a career-crossroads should consider a role in the care sector, especially if they see the appeal in making a real difference to older people’s lives.
