Owners Graham and Elaine Holtom
Hi, we’re Graham and Elaine, the owners and management team, of Home Instead North Oxfordshire. We have been married for 20 years and have two beautiful daughters.
We are immensely happy to run our Home Instead Office in North Oxfordshire and grateful to our staff who help us every day. Quality is the defining feature of our business and with an outstanding rating from CQC and being the number one organisation in the area based on client reviews we are so proud of what we do.
Graham is an experienced manager of various businesses in the environmental sector ranging from large plc’s to early stage companies. For the last four years he has run his own business and therefore has a great deal of experience in management of companies of different sizes.
Elaine is a nurse with 25 year’s experience in the UK and Australia. She has specialised in many clinical areas, in both a hospital setting and as a District Nurse caring for patients in their own homes.
Both of us, through our professional and personal experience have experience of the care system and believe the quality offered by Home Instead sets us apart from all other providers. We look forward to providing you with the support and confidence you deserve to enjoy life.
Elaine Holtom – Care Manager
I have spent most of my career to date as a nurse having qualified more than 30 years ago in Hull. Since then I have worked in different specialist care areas all around the world.
My most recent nursing position was a District Nurse in West Oxfordshire where I spent most of my time caring for the elderly from a health standpoint. During this period I also trained carers from many different companies. I feel this experience alongside family experience gave me a good handle on what a good company looks like.
For me Home Instead ticks all the boxes and enables me to bring all my experience to bear on the problems our clients face.
I really enjoy working with all our special CAREGivers and clients and feel we really can make such a difference to the people we care for.
I'm Adina, and as Deputy Care Manager I work both alongside our Registered Manager, Elaine, and our office team to provide the highest quality support we can. I have over five years of experience in office roles within the care industry in Oxfordshire and have found the focus Home Instead put on quality to be reflected in the experience that clients and staff have every day. I now work closely with Elaine in all aspects of the business but have particular responsibilities in supporting the office team, Client Service Reviews and care planning / risk assessments. I feel very motivated and passionate about providing the highest quality service to our clients and their families.
I live nearby with my family and have a young daughter - see picture, I'm on the left! I love being a Mum… even if it does mean I don’t have too much time for hobbies these days!
Hi... My name is Zoe and I've been with Home Instead in North Oxfordshire for four and a half years now. Initially I was responsible for scheduling for three years but after taking a year off to have twins (!) I now have a role supporting CAREGivers through supervision and training but also support Elaine and Adina in the day to day care operations.
I originally trained to degree level in psychology and have worked with both younger and older people since then. I really love working for Home Instead. The attention clients get and the support we provide our staff is second to none. I feel proud to work for the organisation.
My name is Keshia and I am the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for Home Instead North Oxfordshire. The first part of my career was in marketing but have always been keen on working in recruitment. I obtained a Level 3 diploma in Human Resources Practice from the Chartered Institute of Professional Development in 2016 and began my career in recruitment. Initially I worked as an administrator for the South Central Ambulance Service and then as a Recruitment Coordinator for them before moving to the University of Oxford as an HR Officer and Recruitment Advisor in 2018. I joined Home Instead in April 2020 and am really enjoying the role. It’s great to be part of an organisation that stands out from the crowd and where quality matters.
Outside of work live in the Bicester with a young family. I enjoy exercise and spending time with the family. I also love eating good food with family and friends.
Hi I’m Genna. I’ve been with Home Instead for three and a half years now originally working as a CAREGiver, then a Senior and now as a Coordinator. I support the team planning schedules and sending out rotas to client as they need them. Part of my role also includes planning to support new clients and arranging introductions to make sure new support goes smoothly and everyone has a first class experience. As well as this, I also support Adina and Elaine and carry out support visits of CAREGivers.
I love working with Home Instead and believe the quality of what we do is second to none. I live locally and have a young son so there’s never a dull moment in my life!
I have worked in varied roles for a number of years but after experiencing the need for care and support for my own parents, and the difference that extra support made to them both, I joined Home Instead in North Oxfordshire in 2018. I loved visiting my clients and progressed from CAREGiver to Senior CAREGiver and then to Field Supervisor in 2020. My role now involves the support of clients and their families and CAREGivers in the west of our area. I love the feeling you get when you know you make such a difference to people.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family and especially my grandchildren. I have a wide and possibly unusual range of interests including dressmaking and I am also a keen motorcyclist and love nothing more than riding through the country lanes with my husband especially in the summer months.
Following ten years working in the hospitality industry in New Zealand I returned to the UK in 2019 and began working in care. I found this came very naturally to me and have always considered myself a people person.
I joined Home Instead as CAREGiver in early 2020 and really love the model and ethos around relationship-based support where clients and staff feel they get to spend time with people they know, like and trust. In October I was promoted to Field Supervisor and now work in the office supporting clients and there families as well as CAREGivers in the east of our territory. I really love what we do and get great satisfaction from helping people every day.
Outside of work I am a Mum to a young family and so hobbies don't feature as much in my life as they used to although I still enjoy crafts, walking the dog and I try to swim as much as I can.

A selection of CAREGivers, other staff and their families at our 2019 summer barbeque in Aynho. Mother Nature treated us well and we had a glorious day full of sunshine.
Some of our staff have been with us for just a short period whereas others have been with us since we started four years ago. Staff come from all walks of life. We offer rewarding work supporting mostly elderly clients at home in and around Banbury, Bicester and Brackley. Take a look at our CAREGiver vacancies CAREGiver vacancies for more information.
