Meet the team

owners of home care agency in North Oxfordshire

Owners Graham and Elaine Holtom

Hi, we’re Graham and Elaine, the owners and management team, of Home Instead North Oxfordshire. We have been married for 20 years and have two beautiful daughters.

We are immensely happy to run our Home Instead Office in North Oxfordshire and grateful to our staff who help us every day. Quality is the defining feature of our business and with an outstanding rating from CQC and being the number one organisation in the area based on client reviews we are so proud of what we do. In a nutshell this means we simply want to help people have a better and happier life. It’s a pretty exciting feeling to come to work each day and put that into practice. At the core of this is the relationship between our caregivers and the people they support. For some clients they may find themselves alone after 60 years of marriage; they may have some cognitive issues making the world feel like a scary place; they may have physical issues that mean they can’t get about how they used to; they may feel lonely and isolated. Through these relationships we have found it really is possible to bring some sunshine and comfort into clients lives and leave their relatives feeling reassured that their loved ones are safe and living the best life they can irrespective of the circumstances.

Graham is an experienced manager of various businesses and Elaine is a nurse with 25 year’s experience in the UK and Australia. She has specialised in many clinical areas, in both a hospital setting and as a District Nurse caring for patients in their own homes. Both of us, through our professional and personal experience have experience of the care system and believe the quality offered by Home Instead sets us apart from all other providers. We look forward to providing you with the support and confidence you deserve to enjoy life.

Home Instead North Oxfordshire Deputy Manager

I'm Adina and work with Home Instead in North Oxfordshire as Registered Care Manager, which means I am responsible for all elements of the service we provide. I initially joined as Deputy Manager for two years and also have over five years of experience in other roles within the care industry in Oxfordshire. I have found the focus we put on quality to be reflected in the experience people have every day. I feel very motivated and passionate about providing the highest quality service to our clients and their families.

I live nearby with my family and have a young daughter - see picture, I'm on the left! I love being a Mum… even if it does mean I don’t have too much time for hobbies these days!

Home Instead North Oxfordshire Care jobs

My name is Keshia and I am the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for Home Instead North Oxfordshire. The first part of my career was in marketing but have always been keen on working in recruitment. I obtained a Level 3 diploma in Human Resources Practice from the Chartered Institute of Professional Development in 2016 and began my career in recruitment. Initially I worked as an administrator for the South Central Ambulance Service and then as a Recruitment Coordinator for them before moving to the University of Oxford as an HR Officer and Recruitment Advisor in 2018. I joined Home Instead in April 2020 and am really enjoying the role. It’s great to be part of an organisation that stands out from the crowd and where quality matters.

Outside of work live in the Bicester with a young family. I enjoy exercise and spending time with the family. I also love eating good food with family and friends.

Hi I’m Genna. I’ve been with Home Instead for five and a half years now originally working as a CAREGiver, then a Senior and now as a Coordinator. I support the team planning schedules and sending out rotas to client as they need them. Part of my role also includes planning to support new clients and arranging introductions to make sure new support goes smoothly and everyone has a first class experience. As well as this, I also support Adina and Elaine and carry out support visits of CAREGivers.

I love working with Home Instead and believe the quality of what we do is second to none. I live locally and have a young son so there’s never a dull moment in my life!

I have worked in varied roles for a number of years but after experiencing the need for care and support for my own parents, and the difference that extra support made to them both, I joined Home Instead in North Oxfordshire in 2018. I loved visiting my clients and progressed from CAREGiver to Senior CAREGiver and then to Field Supervisor in 2020. My role now involves the support of clients and their families and CAREGivers in the west of our area. I love the feeling you get when you know you make such a difference to people.

Outside of work I love spending time with my family and especially my grandchildren. I have a wide and possibly unusual range of interests including dressmaking and I am also a keen motorcyclist and love nothing more than riding through the country lanes with my husband especially in the summer months.

I have lived in this area all my life and have worked in the caring field since I was 15. This has been both in client’s own homes and residential settings. I rose to Deputy Care Manager in a local care home and have obtained various qualifications including a level five NVQ qualification in Leadership and Management.

I joined Home Instead North Oxfordshire in the summer of 2021 as a Field Supervisor. My role is to ensure clients and caregivers have the best experience possible and It’s really great to be somewhere where quality really matters.

Outside of work I enjoy time with my family and taking long walks. I try my best to keep physically fit and not to take life too seriously.
