19 February 2014

We are delighted to announce that Sam & Trevor Brocklebank, co-founders of Home Instead, are finalists in the Entrepreneur of the Year category of the prestigious 2014 Laing & Buisson Independent Specialist Care Awards. These national awards showcase the very best in care services.

This award is given to the individual/s who have demonstrated the most impressive business skills in either creating new services for adults with social care needs or building a platform to make a high quality offering more widely available.

Trevor commented, “It is such a privilege to be selected as a finalist for this prestigious award. We set up the business in 2006 and in 2013 we were revealed as the no. 1 home care provider for older people.

He continued, “When we struggled to find my grandfather the right type of care to assist him at home; we knew there had to be a better way, so we set about establishing a business to enable us to provide quality care as it should be. “

The winner will be announced at a Gala Dinner which will be held on 12 March 2014, hosted by Rt. Hon Michael Portillo at the London Lancaster Hotel, W2.
