Our End of Life training wins The Princess Royal Training Award

In 2019, we won The Princess Royal Training Award for our End of Life training.

The accolade, awarded by Princess Anne herself, recognises businesses that demonstrate outstanding training and skills development programmes.

When judging The Princess Royal Training Award, judges look at three ‘Hallmarks of Excellence,’ namely: was the programme delivered efficiently, is it effective and does it have a positive impact on the organisation and its people.

We were one of just 44 organisations in the UK to receive the award, and the only home care company nominated in 2019.

What is End of Life Training?

Launched in 2018, our City & Guilds accredited End of Life programme was developed to give our Care Professionals the skills and knowledge to cope with the practical and emotional demands of delivering end of life care. We’ve since rolled it out across our national team of over 12,000 Care Pros.

The aims of the training are simple: to support Care Professionals during what can be one of the most challenging parts of care work, but also to improve the overall quality of care we provide to clients and their loved ones.
