Double Care Award Win For Home Instead

Home Instead is proud to announce a double win at the East Midlands Great British Care Awards, the glittering ceremony was held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.  

The much coveted awards celebrate excellence across the social care sector and pay tribute to individuals who have excelled in their work.

Senior care coordinator, Angela Burke, from Home Instead East Northants won in the Home Care Coordinator category, she was described by the judges as a truly outstanding individual who displays a tremendous passion for her work. She leads her team from the front with skill and understanding. 




Home Instead East Nottingham & Melton Mowbray CAREgiver Ann Wiggett holding her 'Dementia Carer' award













Caregiver Ann Wiggett from Home Instead East Nottingham & Melton Mowbray collected her award in the Dementia Carer category; the judges commented that she had a knowledgeable and insightful approach to a well-constructed programme of care. Ann combined this with emotional warmth and obvious commitment and passion. Ann is keen to ensure that the person with dementia feels valued. Truly inspirational.  

The winners of the regional Great British Care Awards will now go on to the national finals of these prestigious awards which will be held at The ICC, Birmingham June 2015.
