At Home Instead, we offer compassionate dementia care in St Paul’s, tailored to each individual’s unique journey. Our support begins with understanding that no two experiences with dementia are alike, which is why we create personalised care plans that adapt as needs evolve. We stand out with our ‘No Uniform’ policy, helping our clients feel comfortable with trusted friends rather than clinical carers in their homes. Our one-hour minimum visits ensure quality time without rushing, and our careful matching process connects clients with Care Professionals who share similar interests and personalities. With our City & Guilds-Assured dementia training, families can rest easy knowing their loved ones are in capable, understanding hands.

Our Care Starts With Connection
Our support extends beyond the home to help clients stay connected with the vibrant St Paul’s community. We can accompany clients to Portland Square gardens when the weather’s nice, creating peaceful moments amidst the hustle of city life. Many of our Care Professionals support clients to attend dementia-friendly cafes and community events. For those who enjoy culture, we’ve found gentle visits to St Paul’s Church or the occasional calm morning at Cabot Circus can provide stimulating yet manageable outings, always guided by what brings joy and comfort to each individual.

Our St Pauls Team is With You Through Every Step
We are led by Joe, our Director with nine years of experience, who, after successfully establishing our Weston-Super-Mare office, brought the same dedication to Bristol East. Our Care Manager, Tracy, brings over a decade of care expertise and takes personal pride in matching clients with just the right Care Professionals for their personality and needs. Every Care Professional completes our industry-leading dementia training programme before meeting clients, and we continue their development with regular updates on best practices for supporting people at different stages of dementia.
This dedication carries through into our local connections across Bristol East. This year, our Team Leader's partner is running the Bristol 10k in honour of his grandmother who lives with dementia, raising funds for Home Instead charities that further our dementia care initiatives. We hosted a Time4aCuppa event outside our office, with homemade cakes and tea on sale to raise money for Dementia UK. Several of our clients enjoy the singing sessions and lunches organised by Longwell Green Community Centre.
Our dementia care in St Pauls is designed by experts and is City & Guilds Assured, so you know your loved one is receiving only the very best care. Our Care Professionals focus on creating an environment that's calm and consistent, while maintaining dignity and familiar routines to reduce confusion and keep clients comfortable.
