Our compassionate Care Professionals support clients like Andrew in Brunel Quays with activities they love, such as picnics at the Tudor Bridge, visits to Lanhydrock House, or lunch at Duchy Nursery Cafe. From picking up groceries at the Lostwithiel Co-Op to collecting prescriptions at Mountchase Pharmacy or simply offering companionship, we make daily life easier. Our personalized homecare keeps individuals connected to their community and routines. Proudly serving Lostwithiel, Lanlivery and Milltown we provide trusted care that makes a positive difference enabling people to enjoy their lives in their own homes as independently as possible.
Our home care service is supported by a skilled office care team led by a Registered Care Manager with a Training Coordinator, both holding Level 5 Leadership qualifications in Social Care. We provide comprehensive training in areas like personal care, medication support, dementia care, Parkinson's and palliative care. Training is conducted at our Par Moor office, with practical assessments in clients' homes around Lostwithiel and Lanlivery. When Betty, a Brunel Quays resident living with dementia and frailty, needed an extra lunchtime visit, we were able to swiftly train and assess two new Care Professionals to meet her specialised care needs. Our dedication ensures every client receives personalized, exceptional homecare. Lostwithiel is also a lovely community to live in as an older person, with a rich history as an ancient stannary town. The community centre has a friendship cafe on Thursdays from 2–3.30pm and many other activities throughout the week. For those with good mobility, try the Restormel Walking Trail between the wonderful Duchy of Cornwall Nursery and the beautiful ruins of Restormel Castle. Lostwithiel itself has a great range of shops and events throughout the year, from LostFest in May to the Dickensian Evening in early December, a lovely start to Christmas. The Mess Hall is a lovely cafe in the heart of Lostwithiel.
