We often support clients who have become isolated and can’t maintain their former routines and social lives. Our elderly care services help to provide valuable social interaction and mental stimulation, and as well as in-home support it can include outings such as shopping, local walks, community activities, or visits to places of interest. For example, Daphne lives by herself in the centre of the village, overlooking Hartley Wintney Commons. Her son David is keen for her to get more interaction and stimulation, so every Tuesday, we take her to the Forget-Me-Not Café run by the Hartley Wintney Voluntary Care Group in St John’s Church. Here, Daphne has made new friends and has a great time chatting and playing games over tea and cake.
