Arguably the first person to bring the global dance/fitness craze of Zumba to the Kirklees area, Anne Little has changed the usual blood sweat and tears of exercise to laughs, teamwork and fun! As a senior lecturer at the University of Huddersfield, Anne is currently working towards a PhD in the subject of Exercise and Motivation in Older Adults. Anne has taken it upon herself to change the way physical activity is delivered. Classes have a carnival atmosphere and unparalleled energy levels. I would recommend Home Instead to anybody who is in the position of having loved ones who need help and assistance to enable them to stay in their own home and also to give relatives some peace of mind during what is a very worrying time for all concerned. My parents have always found the CAREGivers to be friendly and responsive to their needs even though they are of that generation whereby they still think that they can manage without help. The CAREGivers have gotten to know my parents and have adjusted to their needs and wants in a professional manner, whilst at the same time treating them as friends and giving them company when needed. During the past six months, things have been extremely difficult for us a family and my mother found it very hard to accept care in the home – Home Instead have always reinstated their care at a moment’s notice for which we have been very grateful. I would always recommend Home Instead for anybody who finds themselves in the same position as we are in and thank you to all the CAREGivers who do a fantastic job under sometimes difficult circumstances.
Thank you also to Catherine, James and Sue for their unfailing patience and kindness.
With kind regards and our thanksA and M (Client daughter and son in-law)
