Owner and Director
I am one of the two owners of Home Instead Senior Care Isle of Wight. I have lived with my wife and family on the Island for over 20 years and feel we are an integral part of our local community.
I recognised the need for a high quality and improved approach to caring for seniors on the Isle of Wight after experiencing mediocre care provision for my aged parents over a 10 year period.
After careful consideration and extensive research into the domiciliary care industry, we feel privileged to have secured our business within the Home Instead Senior Care family.
Owner and Director
I am the co-owner of the business and passionately share the Home Instead Senior Care ethos of delivering nothing but the best care for our ageing population.
My own experiences with the care needs of my ageing parents over the last few years has highlighted the issues and problems with the provision of quality care and the ageing process. This led me to review the options available and the conclusion that Home Instead Senior Care is the preferred provider of choice.
We are both excited to be able to offer a quality, tailored and compassionate service that enables clients to stay independent in the comfort of their own home and also ensures positive outcomes that we wish we could have provided for both of our sets of parents.
Registered Care Manager
I joined Home Instead Senior Care in April 2019, having worked in the Health and Social Care industry for over 12 years. I have a wide range of experience of older persons health conditions, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Diseases and some complex care conditions. I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2016 as an Allied Health Professional.
Following on from my experience in Health and Social Care mostly in hospital and community environments. I moved in to domiciliary care to support local seniors and those living with health conditions to offer professional, person centered care to people living in their own homes.
I am responsible for the day to day running of our care operations, to ensure our care and support is safe and achieving the best outcomes for our clients. I am also responsible for full compliance with all governing body requirements. My role involves ensuring that all care and support services are structured in a way that provides continuity, reliability and that quality care is delivered every time.
I believe in the core values of Home Instead and love that we treat everyone with dignity, respect and compassion, working in collaboration with the team, clients, family members and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for all our clients.
Deputy Care Manager
I joined the team on the Isle of Wight just before Christmas 2020 , I was inspired by there mission, 'To be the UK's most admired care company through changing the face of ageing' .
I have worked within the care industry for over 12 years and I have a wide range of working knowledge and experience of Alzheimer's,and dementia care, within a Care home setting and Domiciliary care. I understand the importance of getting the balance right, and building and establishing a friendly and trustworthy relationship.
My passion for care has led me to undertake an Open University 'Health and Social Care Degree, which I have now completed and had conferred in August 2020. This achievement has helped me achieve my goal of being able to step up in the community and support my Registered Manager in ensuring good quality care is delivered whilst dignity and respect is maintained throughout the team.
