Face-to-face Quarterly Meeting since the pandemic
12th April 2022, Home Instead Greenwich & Bexley Care Professionals quarterly team meeting held face-to-face in 2.5 year, since Covid-19 pandemic.
It was estimated that nearly one million older people in the UK received home care services in 2020, which means, remaining in their own home in later life is the preferred choice among aging adults. Home Instead Greenwich & Bexley have been supporting older people and promoting independence for the last 7 years. We employ over 100 Care Professionals who support over 120 vulnerable people in their own homes; they support our clients with personal care, home help and companionship; maintaining regular contact with clients and Care Pros is a part of our quality assurance process and quarterly meeting is one of those touch points. Every quarter care professionals meet other colleagues, network and share good practices.
The main attraction of the event was the awards for the quarter – Jonathan and Jillian won the Care Pros of the Quarter and Michaela scooped the Outstanding Newcomer Award – a huge congratulations to the winners. As Easter being round the corner, each Care Pro was presented with a gift with Easter Eggs and goodies. Care Manager, Diane, stated “it was so nice to see everyone face-to-face, after a such a long time, I’m very glad the meeting went well; a very good turnout”
The quarterly was held at The Westwood, Welling that lasted for 2 hours, the meeting was ran by ,care manager, Diane, supported by her office team, Halima, Phil, Fiona and Mel, our directors, Fatta and Sonia were also present at the meeting.
