Home Instead Fareham and Gosport Managing Director to undertake Ambassador role for Hampshire Dementia Action Alliance

Home Instead Senior Care Fareham and Gosport are pleased to confirm that the Managing Director, John James, has been approved to act as an Ambassador on behalf of the Hampshire Dementia Action Alliance.

This role will comprise networking with local businesses and organisations to promote interest in the needs of people with dementia and in the work undertaken by others to promote awareness.

It will also include encouraging organisations and businesses to train their staff, to provide facilities that are dementia friendly, to encourage organisations and businesses to join the Dementia Action Alliance and help to establish Dementia Friendly High Streets.

John James, Managing Director, of Home Instead in Fareham said:

’I am delighted to undertake this Ambassadorial role on behalf of the Hampshire Dementia Action Alliance.

From the work that I do networking with local businesses and services there is a willingness by local business owners and managers to improve their understanding of the needs of people living with dementia.

If that interest can be translated into action that can only have positive outcomes for the work of the Alliance movement here in Hampshire.”
