We are looking for knitters!

Once again as part of this year’s Christmas celebrations in Epping, St John’s Church will be holding a Christmas Tree Festival on 5th-8th December. This will consist of a display in the Church of Christmas trees each decorated, by either a local business, organisation, school, society or an individual to reflect their business or activity, as well as Christmas themed craft work made by schools and young children’s organisations. Two charities selected by St John’s Church will be supported by a percentage of the funds raised over the four days of the Festival. The festival has been a great success over past years with some 2000-3000 visitors!

We have asked to take part and will be decorating our allocated tree on 3rd December.  The trees have to be decorated in a way that reflects your business or activity. We are a family business helping and supporting families care for their elderly members. We want our tree to show that we, as a company, are different, rather than buy all the decorations we want to make our tree personal by family and friends making some, if not all, of the decorations.

We are, therefore, asking our clients, staff, family and friends if they would like to knit some tree decorations for us. My mother, Nan, some clients and CAREGivers have already started knitting! If you would like to knit some mini tree decorations then please call in or telephone our office 01992 666777 and we can ensure you get a knitting pattern.

Let's make our tree a super,successful,group effort!
