Once again as part of this year’s Christmas celebrations in Epping, St John’s Church will be holding a Christmas Tree Festival on the above dates.

This will consist of a display in the church of individually decorated Christmas trees. There will be seasonal music, concerts by local groups, refreshments and stalls.

Two charities selected by St John’s Church will be supported by a percentage of the funds raised over the four days of the Festival.

Businesses, organisations, schools, societies and individuals in Epping have been invited to decorate a tree in return for a payment to the Church. We have agreed to take part and we have already started making plans for our tree! Our business is care for the elderly in their own homes so our theme will be a traditional family Christmas at home:

‘Ho, Ho, Home it’s Christmas’

Our tree will be decorated in a traditional theme with many of the decorations having been made by our clients. We also have some illuminated house tree decorations to incorporate the ‘at home’ part of our theme.

It should be a great festival and should make us all feel ‘Christmassy’. Last year there were over 2000 visitors who then vote for their favourite tree, so please vote for us!
