Welcome to Home Instead Epping Forest. We are proud to be part of the international award winning Care Company that is changing the way care is being delivered across the UK.
On the Queen’s 90th birthday the Home Instead model was recognized for its innovative provision of companionship, relationship-led care which underscores the difference made by Home Instead.
We set out six years ago with a vision: to be the ‘best of breed’ in homecare in our locality and so we are really pleased to have received our CQC Outstanding Rating, it is our dream come true and marks our commitment to continuous improvement.
We offer a wide range of non-medical, tailor made, services to suit your individual circumstances; from companionship and help around the home, to daily personal care. We listen carefully to your needs and concerns, and ensure that you are treated with respect, compassion and receive the support you really need.
We are the friendly face to go shopping with, the person that accompanies you to the doctor’s surgery, the listening ear to share memories with.
Our team of CAREGivers are dedicated to making a difference to people’s lives in our community. They are dependable, compassionate and share our values. Our CAREGivers treat our clients with the up-most respect and we ensure that they are all properly trained to assist older people to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
We aim to ensure continuity of care, enabling a client to see the same CAREGiver and to enjoy building a relationship and rapport with that person. The team also has the added benefit of providing specialist personal care where needed including Alzheimer’s, dementia, respite care and support.
Our Outstanding Rating pays testimony to teamwork throughout and everyone’s commitment to providing care that comes from the heart, care with a family feel.
I’d like to share a personal experience, which has been a very influential driver for me in setting up Home Instead. My Grandpa became seriously ill very quickly and my Nan was house-bound caring for him. She would have loved an extra pair of hands to provide some support, even if it was just looking after my Grandpa for a few hours while she went out to run errands or pick up his prescriptions. Unfortunately, this kind of help was not available in her area and she had to rely on friends to help out when they could. This made an already very difficult situation even more stressful at times. My Nan is a big fan of my job, and hopes I can offer the kind of support that would have really helped in her time of need. Even though this was obviously a very hard time for my family, I still feel very lucky that my Grandpa passed away in the home he loved with his family that loved him very much.
