On behalf of myself, my brother and sister I would like to thank you and your staff for the care you have all given to my late mother. All of the carers who looked after her were so kind and efficient. It seemed as if nothing was too much trouble for them in looking after our Mum. They would spend time with her just talking about all sorts of things. I know Mum appreciated this because she looked forward to them coming and called them her "friends".Mum was quite lonely in the last few years of her life but your staff did more then was expected of them to help over this in their visits.Mum always wanted to stay in her own home and your carers made this possible for her.Thank you again for everything you did for her. It has been very much appreciated ’’

Mrs B - Kinoulton

Thank you for all the care given to my Dad over the last few weeks. You all made our difficult time easier by your understanding and support and of course the kind timely care given in helping in Dad.

S N - Occupational Therapist to Client

"The staff I have observed have been, I have to say, extremely sensitive, caring and skilful."

Mr J - Plymouth

I would like to thank everyone at Home Instead for providing dad with excellent care, much needed company and kindness over the last few years. We greatly appreciate all you have done for him.

Mrs S: Newark

I am taking the opportunity of enclosing this note to thank you for your "help" to the family and me and to also let you know how appreciative I have been of the care and friendship I have received during my recent incapacity. "Staff to be proud of".

Mrs F - Newark

Hi Helen,
I have been meaning to email you to say thank you for organising my Mum's care.
You came out to see us in July at very short notice and somehow managed to put things in place in a matter of days. The introduction you gave us to Home Instead promised much and it is so lovely that all those promises have been met.
It was a big decision for my Mum to accept that she needed some support but your staff have been wonderful and she regularly tells me about them and enjoys having them in her home.
I would be very grateful if you could also pass on my thanks to Jenny, Emma and Sandra.
Kind regards and thanks

Mrs A & Mrs G

Thank you so much for the loving care and attention you all gave to our Mum, Irene, over the last four years. You made a massive difference to her life and we will always be grateful.

VG - CAREGiver

Q was talking to my client about it being such a lovely morning and this was what she said. "They are lovely because I have company, its nice to have company, like you and the other ladies". She had tears in her eyes and we hugged and I had tears too and we smiled and then laughed at each other. What other role is more rewarding than ours? My heart has been touched.

LT - Darlington

Dear Richard & Jo

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the wonderful service and care your organisation has provided for my father over the past year. the whole team have been superb from the administration to front line care. People have always been cheerful and extremely efficient, communicating clearly and regularly and always keeping us in the loop as to the care. Having had a less positive experience with another company it was a very refreshing and reassuring contrast.

The care has been amazing with a perfect team who worked so well together. Helen, the Care Manager, was approachable and fully informed about all Dad's needs and she was both caring and efficient. Karen, a new member of the team, was so like Edwina and Dad quickly became fond of her. In fact Dad said one day how lucky he was to need care he could have such wonderful people looking after him.

Edwina was my father's main CAREGiver and has been with him since the beginning. She is, and has been, outstanding. She totally won over a rather diffiicult older gentleman giving thought, time and effort to get to know him and create a totally tailored package. She not only provided for all his care needs but became a great companion and friend. Dad so looked forward to her visits. On many occasions she went far beyond the call of duty to help meet his needs and make him comfortable. She brought in spare plants from her home to brighten the garden outside his window and often called in to prompt him to take medication as he became unable to remember. During recent illnesses when he had lost his confidence she was there to reasssure. She enabled my father to stay very happily and safely in his own home until last week when he moved into residential care because he was afraid to be left at night. I cannot express the depth of my gratitude.

If there is ever an opportunity to nominate a CAREGiver for an award I would be delighted to nominate Edwina even though we are no longer working with you. Please do get in touch if this opportunity arises. Edwina gave my father a very happy life in his own home and I would like to have the opportunity to have this recognised more widely.

I would always recommend Home Instead to others in our situation, a truly superb provider.

Yours sincerely

Mrs E - Nottingham

I would like to thank you and the rest of the team in the office at Homeinstead who have been tremendous help to me over the past few years and also to her carers, Debbie, Diane, Ella, Jackie and Linda. The care they have given has been excellent and it has given me great peace of mind.

You have also helped me Helen, thank you for not making a drama out of a crisis. I always felt confident that you had Mum's best interests at heart and that you always seemed to make the right decision.

Mrs I - Cotgrave

The carers in the nursing home are very kind but Home Instead is a hard act to follow. My family and I cannot thank you enough for the outstanding attention mum received from yourselves over the 2 1/2 years of care you gave.

Mrs R - Gunthorpe

Thank you for all your help and kindness with my grandfather. He liked and trusted everyone he met there, which was hugely important in keeping him at home for as long as you did. In particular, Diane, has been an absolute star going above and beyond the call of duty in so many ways. He became very fond of her. Many thanks and best wishes

Mr I - Radcliffe on Trent

My sister and I would like to thank your staff members for the care and attention provided to our mother at her home in Cotgrave, during the time you have being caring for her. As you may well be aware, our mother has now been moved into a care home but we will both retain happy memories of the wonderful attention given by your carers during the time they were involved with her.

Mrs W - Vale of Belvoir

I wish to place on record my appreciation of the carers provided by you and the level of care I have received. In particular, I wish to highlight the care provided by Elaine who has been excellent. I would be very happy to recommend Home Instead Senior Care to anyone requiring care at home.

Mr D - Newark

Not only excellent care and support, Sandra brings into her work a ray of sunshine

Mrs S - Southwell

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how much we appreciate Denise, she is wonderful with Mrs C who likes her enormously and the two of them get on very well together. Her calm, caring and thoughtful approach and her gentle manner is just what Mrs C requires. Thank you for putting the two of them together!

Mrs E - Nottingham

I am delighted with the service you provide for Mum. I have no concerns at all, in fact I don't know what I would do without you.

Ella is the only one I have contact with and I (and Mum) cannot praise her enough. She continually goes the extra mile to help Mum which I greatly appreciate.

Mum also regularly comments on how nice the rest of her carers are, she has never said anything detramental about Homeinstead at all (and believe me she would if she wasn't happy!) Long may it continue........

Mr G - Newark

Dear Richard and Helen,I must as an immediate step express on behalf of my father, my brother and me, our deepest thanks for the outstanding support provided by all in the “Home Instead Team”. From the most empathetic and prompt manner in which the programme of support was put in place, through to the sensitive and upmost caring manner in which the support was provided, we could not have asked for more. June, as the primary carer, has been fantastic, she having a wonderful understanding of my father’s needs both physical and emotional. Home Instead came to my attention by way of a recommendation of another of your clients, albeit in a difference part of the country and I shall be more that happy to make a recommendation in turn if the opportunity arises. With all our sincerest thanks,

Mrs G - Bingham

Dear Richard and Team, I have been reluctant to pay this last bill because it means the end of a short but enjoyable friendship with some extraordinary people. I will never forget all the support you have given not only to mum but also to us as a family.Thank you so much for all your support and if you ever want a reference please let me know.

Mrs G - Bingham

Dear Richard and all your team, Just wanted to say how grateful I am to you and all your team for all the care and support mum and the family have received over the last couple of months. I am sure you are already aware of the quality of Sian, Elaine and Christine but I cannot sing their praises enough. They have become like part of the family. My apologies if I have 'popped' into the office a little too often but Helen and the girls gave been so supportive too. Once again many thanks from mum, me and the family. Kind regards

Mrs R - Bingham

I know my Mum is with caring people who will take her out, offer companionship and have her best interests at the centre of her care.

Mrs B - Bingham

The provision I was using prior to Home Instead were moving away and I would have been left without a service which I depend on. I am very pleased with the efficiency of the service provided, the team caring for me are extremely professional, smartly presented, punctual, efficient with a lot of consideration for my personal care. It is a weight off my mind to know that Home Instead can assist at any time and they are dependable. Well Done Home Instead.

Mrs B-M - Stanton-on-the-Wolds

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you for helping me so much in looking after my mum. A special thank you to Daisy. My mum was very fond of her and I know she went above and beyond to help Mum. Nothing was too much trouble. She dealt with matters I never even thought of. I cannot thank you enough.Thank you so much for making the last few months of my Mum's life so much happier.

Mrs G - Bingham

Before the carers started I was spending so much time doing jobs and errands I had no real prime time with my Mum. The office staff and carers have supported me and my Mum. I felt I was being such a nuisance with plans changing from one hour to the next but Home Instead took it all in their stride and just sorted. Mum has been offered free carers but she is so happy with the people and the service she will not change. I think that shows how much she appreciates what's she is getting.Thank you.

Mrs H - Keyworth

I was suffering from walking problems and particularly poor balance, all making it more difficult to keep up with household chores and also to act as my husband's carer.Home Instead carers have helped to cope with daily chores, especially when they involved negotiating our old stone steps - back, front and interior. Our carers have been pleasant and helpful all round and happy to be with my husband, at times while I had to go to appointments, or have a short break even.

Mrs E - Nottingham

We are both delighted with the service so far.  Mum really likes both of her carer's Ella and Rowena, and they are both ideally suited for Mum, especially with Ella, as she has much more contact she communicates regularly with me for anything she thinks I need to know about and that's a huge weight off my shoulders.

Mrs J - Burton Joyce

We have been very pleased with the excellent service we have received from Home Instead Senior Care. The Carers are really lovely people and always arrive on time both morning and evening. We were most impressed one evening when a Carer forgot to clock in and within 10 minutes we had a call from the office to make sure someone was with us. We have recommended Home Instead to a friend. With their help we are able to keep my husband at home. We could not manage without them. They are first class !!!

Mrs W - Calverton

My eyesight is deteriorating - this and trying to look after the home and my husband becomes exceedingly difficult. The help from my carer is invaluable. I also look forward to her company apart from the work she does. My husband is in hospital at the moment so she provided me with great support.

Mr L - Ravenshead

Home Instead help my wife combat her sickness of depression and lack of mobility. Their consideration even on introduction of carers, and flexibility of visiting times. The carers are caring in both personal care and companionship. There is always someone to contact and willing to help. The management and administrative staff are also very competent. With all the positive factors of Home Instead it makes life a lot better.

Mrs H - Keyworth

We do appreciate all you do for us, your help, attention and understanding, especially Diane and Caroline. Wishing you every success this year and in the future.

Mrs B - Bingham

The service which we have received to date is excellent.

Mr H - Ruddington

Although our present requirements are not extensive, my wife's memory loss and my age will inevitably bring us to the need for more care. We are confident that Home Instead will be able to do this for us when the need arises. Our carer is kind, practical and helpful.

Mrs T - Ruddington

As a family we are truly grateful to you all for all the help and support you have given, not only to Mum but to us as well. The Caregivers have been brilliant and Mum could not have stopped so long at home without them. Please pass on our thanks. We all hope you all have a good Christmas.

Mrs B - Woodborough

I am very grateful for the care she has received which has enabled her to remain independent for longer than I had anticipated.

Mr S - Colston Bassett

Dad had problems cooking his own meals and gradually became less and less interested in eating. Since using Home Instead Senior Care he is the old Dad we know and is so much better. His Carers are kind and nothing is too much trouble. As well as cooking, they help keep the house tidy and ensure he is clean and taking his medication.

Mrs C - Burton Joyce

I had an operation and was not allowed to get my right hand wet. I was also limited in what I could do, i.e. making the bed, ironing etc. I was not allowed to drive as well. Home Instead solved all my problems. Everyone I spoke to either the office or face to face were extremely pleasant helpful and kind. Ella was excellent.

Mr M - London

Dear Richard,On behalf of all of us, I want to thank you and all at Home Instead for the invaluable and fantastic care that you provided to my father over the last year or so. I can honestly say it was a huge relief to find Home Instead and without doubt you enabled him to stay at home for his last days. For us (and for him) this was incredibly important and frankly the right way.I would like to also thank all of the girls, Sophie, Elaine, Cathy, Sally and Sarah for all of their efforts. I know he could seem an unappreciative type but truth be told he really did get the best care and he knew and was very grateful. You are all stars and I can only say many thanks from all of us.

Mr & Mrs R - Burton Joyce

Thank you to all the staff, but especially to Jade, Liz and Ella for all the excellent care given for nearly a year. We shall remember you.

Mr B - Gotham

Thank you for all you did in making sure I was looked after for those two weeks, Daisy and Bridget did an amazing job and true stars.

Miss H - Mapperly

Using Home Instead made it possible for me to go on holiday and relax knowing two lovely Carers were coming to see my father-in-law daily to cook meals and spend time with him.

Mrs A - Bingham

Having your ladies into help me has been very good. They are very caring and helpful. I would recommend your service to anyone, I could not fault you at all. Thank you all.

Mrs W - Radcliffe on Trent

I was struggling with day-to-day activities as I was very weak and unsteady. My initial contact with Home Instead Senior Care was very supportive and efficient, with a Carer being sorted quickly. I now have help with showering, keeping my home clean and enjoy companionship. I thoroughly recommend Home Instead Senior Care to anyone.

Mrs J - Burton Joyce

All the Carers have been lovely and so easy to get on with. They have been cheerful and so kind to my husband. They have always been reliable and always on time for their duties. We are grateful for all the help we have been given.

Mrs S - Keyworth

From the moment of contact we received friendly and sound advice, every eventuality was thoroughly covered. The whole experience was a pleasure and exceeded our expectations. As for the caregiver (Keron) she was a joy to have in our home and carried out her duties in a friendly manner whilst maintaining my husband's dignity, she did everything asked of her. If in the future we are in need of further help it is a very comforting thought to know that Home Instead are there for us.

Mrs S - Bingham

We cannot speak highly enough of the care and concern shown by all staff at Home Instead. We are so very grateful for all they have done during the time they have cared for my mother.

Mrs P - Radcliffe on Soar

I and my brother's family were having great difficulties getting correct Carers for his needs. He has conditions relating to a stroke and worsening dementia. Mobility is very bad. We then met Home Instead Senior Care who have turned everyday caring around. They look after him as we would. They see to his personal needs as well as using gentle exercises to help his mobility. They cook and clean and keep my brother occupied in their allotted time. We all work very well together, and we all listen to each others concerns and try to resolve them. We could not be without Home Instead now. I cannot praise the Carers enough. They are all doing a wonderful job, and they are all so friendly and professional.

Mrs L - East Leake

I was lonely and was unable to go out. Home Instead has given me my confidence back. The service Donna has given me has been very helpful, she is a really lovely person, always happy.

Mrs R - Burton Joyce

Always punctual, willing and considerate in every way. Their care over 7 months has brought about a big improvement in my husband's skin condition and has helped me to keep him well in every way.

Mrs H - Nottingham

For both Mum and Dad the important thing for them, and for my family, has been to keep them together at home in a safe and happy environment. Support from Home Instead CAREGivers over the last year has enabled this to happen to this point and we are extremely grateful for the care, kindness and patience that Nick, Cat, Mandy and latterly Caroline have shown both my parents. As a Company you have been flexible and professional in the service you have given us, yet compassionate and understanding. When my parents settle into their new home, we will give some thought to how we go forward with additional companionship support and will be in touch with Home Instead to possibly provide this. Thanks again

Mr J - Lowdham

Karen is my carer, I am glad she is as it is a pleasure to see her call, chat and check on me.

Mrs M - Chesterfield

Home Instead have been wonderful - our best experience of support for Mum. Amanda and Laura are outstanding carers.

Mrs B - Burton Joyce

I was lonley and Home Instead has provided a carer who has provided good company and stimulation.

Mrs S - Leicester

My Mother was struggling to cope with living on her own and increasingly relying on her Daughter (me) for help and support. She was having Mon-Fri help from a care agency in Nottingham 7am-8am but they could not provide this care at the weekend. In desperation I contacted Home Instead and I spoke to Nick and he visited and assessed the situation immediately. He hand picked the carers for the job and came round with them to introduce them to my mother and me. I cannot tell you how relieved I felt on meeting them. The requested care was put into place immediately and the standard of the care was outstanding. All the staff I have spoken with have been one hundred per cent supportive. I am sorry I did not know about you before, but will inform Bingham Health Centre about you and also all my mother's friends. Thank you.

Mrs H - Bingham

I became ill soon after moving into my new home, I was very lonely. The ladies you have sent me are very good at lifting my spirits and have become ladies who really keep me going. I think your service is very special, so please don't become too big to care, God Bless.

Mrs M - Cotgrave

Thank you all so much for your wonderful organisation and loving care which you gave to my husband whilst I was away. I was able to go away and not worry about anything, knowing that he was in very good hands. We have the best carers anyone could have and I am always very grateful to all of you.

Mrs M - Chesterfield

I felt I had to write to commend Mum's care generally and, in particular, Laura with whom Mum has developed a lovely friendship that is making such a difference to her life. Laura takes the concept of 'care' to another level. It is clearly so much more than a job for her and we would like you to know how much we appreciate her efforts in what is, for us, a heartbreaking situation. Laura is well-trained and professional but also full of heart. Well done for finding her!

Mrs D - Nottingham

My daughter and I would like to thank you so much for the care and friendship you gave my mother in her final months. A special thank you goes to Carolyn, Elaine and Sophie, as well as their tender care, they brought an added interest to her days. Mum loved reminiscing about the past with them

Mrs M - Cotgrave

Mum wasn't eating and we were unable to make sure mum had a meal everyday. After being admitted to hospital we had to put a care package in place before Mum came home but Mum refused to be assessed by Local Services. We wanted to ensure Mum had contact with someone daily, was having a dinner daily and her medication. The Home Instead Senior Care service works very well for all of us and runs smoothly. We feel the service is excellent. Mum is far happier and has gained weight and she looks forward to seeing Sarah daily.

Mrs D - Lowdham

A pensioner myself, I was struggling to cope with my 92 year old mother from morning until night. Home Instead spend 1½ hours every day Monday to Friday in the morning to wake her, dress her and give her breakfast. The carer also spends a couple of hours twice a week with my mother to enable me to go out with peace of mind. I now have a carer whom my mother adores. I cannot fault her care and Home Instead are in constant touch to check we have no problems.

Mrs R - Whatton

My daughter was in hospital, I wanted company, someone to help me, walk my dogs and just be there. You've done a wonderful job.

Mr H - Keyworth

Home Instead Senior Care staff are kindly, caring and very efficient. Many Thanks

Mrs F - Cotgrave

My father-in-law was struggling with his day to day life, due to ill health, and was relying more and more on his sons and their families. The families have their own difficulties, disabled children, ill spouses not to mention work. After initial reservations, we arranged for Home Instead Senior Care to attend, we are very impressed with their professionalism and great attention to detail. The girl who first came was really nice and put us at ease. We now have a regular lady and she is absolutely fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble even on days when my father-in-law is grumpy, she is still happy and smiling. Mr father-in-law is very settled and very well looked after. It gives us all peace of mind to know that if we unable to call in someone is looking after him and this for us is invaluable.

Mrs E - Stanton on the Wolds

In the short period of time that Home Instead have helped care for my elderly Mum, we have found their Carers kind, helpful and attentive to Mum's needs. Thank you

Mr P - Wimbledon

Finding reliable and sympathetic carers for my mother was the number one priority. The staff and carers at Home Instead Senior Care met those requirements. It was clear from the outset that they wanted to provide the right level of care for my mother and they were accommodating in achieving those goals. The carers provided were understanding and sympathetic to mother's needs. Lovely Ladies and fantastic job.Thank you.

Mrs F - Uttoxeter

We called in Home Instead when things were getting difficult for our elderly parents living in their own home. Dad was getting physically frail and trying to look after our Mum who had dementia. Home Instead gave us peace of mind at least on the days the Carer visited and helped with all sorts of daily tasks. The Carer continued to be a friend and companion to our Mum when Dad sadly passed away.

Mrs B - West Bridgford

Mum broke her arm, needed help dressing, was forgetting to eat and taker her tablets. Home Instead Senior Care relieved all the problems we were having. The carers are wonderful and Jo & I have been completely happy with them, their warmth and their flexibility. Home Instead & Nick, the Care Manager, are always easily accessible - no answer phone needed and always either answer promptly or call back immediately. Home Instead far exceeded our expectations of home care. We have and will continue to recommend Home Instead Senior Care.

Mrs P - West Bridgford

Home Instead has been brillant. We were very wary of getting outside carers but you exceeded all our wildest expectations! Mum has loved the carers, and you have been calm, efficient and flexible.

Mr P - Wimbledon

The service has been friendly and efficient. My mother is very comfortable with the care she is receiving.

Mrs I & Family - Cotgrave

Thank you for your service, Sarah is a gem.

Mrs B - Aukland, New Zealand

Sarah the CAREGiver has really been good, my mum sings her praises and say what a lovely person she is.

Mrs H - Bingham

My son and I would like to thank you all for a super service, we are very impressed and if we should require help again then I would be calling on your services again. The reason for needing your services was that my husband's carer was going on holiday and I couldn't manage on my own. The cover we had worked really well. My husband and his carer, Holly, got on exceptionally well. We were able to keep his regular routine which made a big difference to us all. Once again thank you very much for all your help.

Mr H - Bingham

Problems with previous care providers were that carers did not turn up on time and on a few occasions did not turn up at all. Senior members of staff did not seem at all bothered. Home Instead listened to my needs. We receive regular contact with staff to ensure their services are being executed correctly. We appreciate their time and efforts and like the fact we receive one carer and that a good relationship can be achieved, unlike our previous provider who sent someone different almost every day. Nothing is too much trouble for Home Instead.

Mr W - Radcliffe on Trent

Home Instead Senior Care have been very caring, respectful and professional in meeting all my needs. My CAREGiver has always arrived promptly, at the mutually agreed time, and has always been very conscientious in all she has done. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Senior Care.

Mrs T - Carlton

It was a great relief to find Home Instead through recommendation. They have really lived up to their promises and helped us a great deal. My father is happy with the care and support he receives, given at the times that suit him.We are very grateful for their friendly, professional approach and to know Dad is being so well looked after and supported.

Mrs M - Nottingham

Home Instead has made a big difference and taken a lot of pressure off everyday tasks. Her present Carer has a very good relationship with Mum and anticipates her needs well and is very caring.

Mrs G - Gedling

In the last few difficult months of my mother's life she was given dignity, respect and all the time she needed with her personal care to ensure she stayed at home with my father for as long as possible. She was truly cared for and in her last weeks that care and support extended selflessly to my father and myself. My father is now enjoying the support of the same Caregiver - praise indeed for him!

Mrs H - Burton Joyce

I would like to say a big thank you to Nick and his team for all the help and support you have given over the last few weeks. I have been greatly impressed by the standard of service that you have given, which has taken a lot of the pressure from me. I can't thank you enough.

Mrs H - Ruddington

The care and attention Dad is receiving, has enabled him to regain a sense of time and purpose, and given us, his family, some peace of mind after a confused and worrying period for us all.

Mrs H - Nottingham

As his Granddaughter said, after only one week of care visits, 'I feel that we are getting some of Grandad back'
