Our Amazing CAREGivers

Our amazing CAREGivers are committed to providing a reliable, compassionate and friendly care service that makes a real difference to our clients' lives. Their thoughtfulness and dedication are inspirational.  They work tirelessly helping our clients retain their dignity whilst remaining independent their own homes across Nottinghamshire. 

They arrive with a smile and friendly welcome for clients and their families.  Many of our CAREGivers entered the care sector because they want to make a difference to lives of the elderly, some of them having cared for loved ones of their own.  Every day they provide comfort, companionship, practical help and personal care.  The quality of our CAREGiver's work remains paramount; they continue to provide support, stimulation and personal care to our clients with absolute dedication and commitment.

In short they are our most valuable assets.

Helen: Care Manager

Having worked six years within the learning disability field, I decided to re-direct my career path towards supporting and understanding the needs of older people. I feel very excited and passionate about the vision of Home Instead Senior Care and am looking forward to working alongside Richard, Jo and the rest of the fantastic team in the future development and progression of the business.

I have completed my QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and children and Young People's Services, and I am now looking forward to putting this into practice. I have lived in the Newark area for the majority of my life, brought up 2 children and now am very lucky to have a grand-daughter to spoil!!


Chelsea - Training Manager

I live in Newark and started my career in care whilst studying for a degree in Health and Social Care working my way up to become a senior carer then a team leader in my last organisation. I am passionate about providing high quality care and am keen to take on my new role of delivering training to CAREGivers.


Deborah - Scheduler

Hi, I’m Deborah, I have over 13 years’ experience working as an administrator in various roles and have also been a mobile hairdresser. I am not local to to East Bridgford but do have an older sister who lives in the village. I am married with 3 boys and I enjoy photography and spending quality time with my family and friends. I originally joined Home Instead as Office Administrator and am now the Scheduler. I love working within an industry that can truly make a difference to people's lives and well-being.


Abi - Recruitment

I am well travelled and have a wealth of administrative experience. I left London in July 2016 with my two daughters and three cats and moved to Bingham. I joined Home Instead as a part time CAREGiver in February 2018 to complement my full time school admin job. I then joined the office full time in September 2019 as Recruiter and Care Services Officer. I really enjoy the challenges and variety my job gives me.


Donna - Office Administrator

Hi my name is Donna, I joined Home Instead as a CAREGiver in May 2019 after working in accountancy for 25 years. I love my new part-time admin role which complements my CAREGiving responsibilities. I live in Newark and am married with two teenage daughters. I also have one very vocal Siamese cat !!

Richard & Jo

Richard and Jo: Owners

After 15 years of working for an international airline as cabin crew, Richard decided to hang up his wings and seek a fresh challenge. For Richard the opportunity to join the Home Instead Senior Care team as a franchise owner has enabled him to continue in the service sector by providing industry-leading care for his clients, but also allowed him and his wife, Jo, to engage more meaningfully with the local community. Both Richard and Jo are committed to providing compassionate care to those within their community who need it most. Along with their Care Manager, Helen, they are passionate about making a difference for the elderly and also developing a rewarding environment for their CAREGivers to deliver that service. Outside of work, Richard and Jo spend most of their time looking after their very active twins!
