Established in East Herts and Uttlesford, nine years ago, Home Instead Senior Care has been growing rapidly, not only as a well-respected and highly regarded home care company but also as a centre of excellence when providing training to a dedicated team of CAREGivers.
The reputation of being recognised as one of the world’s leading organisations is something that they are fiercely proud of and passionate about because they are so different to other care establishments.
Specializing in non-medical support of a senior or adult with a learning disability, they will do their upmost to deliver personalized tailor made support, companionship and a trusted source of advice. Whatever it takes to make a difference to the life of a senior. The mission statement, to be the most admired home care company by changing the face of aging, makes them really take on board the very privileged role of helping to improve a client’s life in their own home, where they feel the most happy and safe.
The slogan ‘ To us its personal ‘ means they personally want to be the very best they can be.
The last year has been a very busy one with an emphasis on training and refresher courses for all the CAREGivers so the clients can be rest assured that there is a high level of competence and knowledge. Home Instead is committed to providing the personalised training and ongoing support so all staff can feel confident in their role. With this in mind Home Instead have had the experts devise a specialist Alzheimer disease and other dementias, seven module intensive training programme. This is City and Guilds accredited and all CAREGivers are expected to complete the programme which is delivered in house. Along with that Home Insteads community service Representative will run Family Awareness workshops and community courses for shop owners and businesses. They want a senior to feel they are understood when they are out and about.
David Bassett, Director and his team work tirelessly to make sure their client’s needs are being met and everyone is happy. This includes the fantastic dedicated CAREGivers who go that extra mile because to them, it’s personal too. Treating people as though they are your family with dignity, respect, compassion and empathy is what Home Instead CAREGivers excel in, because they are chosen on their natural ability to care and understand.
Being a CAREGiver is so rewarding and they are keen to dispel all the negativity’s associated with looking after people in their own home. If anybody feels they have even a few hours to spare a week, and really care about enhancing the life of a senior then please get in touch for an informal chat. Flexibility around other commitments that you may have will not be a barrier to working as part of the team.
They are very pleased to announce that they will be running a wellbeing drop in morning at The Coach and Horses public house in Thorley. Details are below. Please feel free to come and see us on Tuesday 1ST August from 10 AM until 12 PM. This is not a one off as this will be continuing on the first Tuesday of each month.
