To us it’s personal and to Tesco’s , every little thing they do will help

Yesterday, late afternoon & evening Home Instead East & Uttlesford did something that no other home care company has done before. In Bishops Stortford. Our goal is the raise awareness and understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia’s in the community and we started with the staff at the largest supermarket in Bishops Stortford , Tesco’s . Community service Representative Jo Bastick, conducted a seminar so staff had more knowledge than most and more importantly had the tools to support people with memory loss while shopping. This will be a huge advantage for Tesco’s as people will not fear visiting there store. Aspects of our city and Guilds accredited course, was delivered and it is fair to say everyone was inspired by what was spoken about and the whole event went amazingly well. There was lively discussion, real life scenarios and tales about loved ones being affected by this dreadful disease. They will proudly display a sign that Home Instead has helped them, be supportive to anyone with memory impairment.
