Live-In Care in East Hertfordshire
Providing Happiness at Home
Having to arrange care for an older relative or friend who needs support to look after themselves can be quite an emotional and stressful experience. There are lots of different types of care available and understanding what will be best for your loved one can become quite overwhelming; that's why we're here to help.
What is Live-in Care?
Live-in care is when a CAREGiver resides in your house and provides you with the care and support you need.
This allows you to live independently for longer at home in familiar surroundings.
Live-in care is a more affordable alternative to a residential care home and enables you to receive dedicated one-to-one support when you need it the most.
Are There Different Types of Live-in Care?
When choosing live-in care, there are a couple of arrangements for you to consider.
Below is a brief overview of the agreements we can offer:
Average Daily Hours Agreement
An average daily hours agreement is where you decide the number of hours you will require support within the 24 hour day.
A CAREGiver then provides you with the home support you need during the times you feel will be most beneficial.
A support plan is created and put into place based on your needs and requirements.
This ensures that both you and your CAREGiver know what to expect from each day.
Although a plan will be in place, if an unforeseen circumstance was to occur, you can have peace of mind that your CAREGiver will be on hand to respond to the situation.
Team Support Agreement
Some people will require more assistance than others and will need around the clock care through the day and night. A Team Support agreement is put in place so that your dedicated CAREGivers will work on shift patterns around the clock.
Is Live-in Care Safe?
Live-in care is one of the safest care options available.
The risk of infection from outside your home is reduced when you have a CAREGiver reside with you. Other care options typically have multiple healthcare professionals coming in and out of the house.
Our most important priority is to keep you as safe and shielded as possible while enjoying a higher quality of life from being in the comfort of your home.
What Do You Need To Provide Your CAREGiver?
To receive live-in care, you will need to provide your CAREGiver with their own bedroom and somewhere for them to store their clothes.
The CAREGiver will also require access to a bathroom and kitchen.
They will also need access to WiFi and a television in their room.
Highly Trained & Trustworthy CAREGivers Matched To Your Needs
