Rob & Zoe- Franchise Owners
As Franchise owners, we are really proud to run a business, which not only makes a difference to our clients and their families but also the wider community in Doncaster. We aim to provide the highest possible standard of care, which not only meets but surpasses the ‘mum test’. Added to this we are consistently working towards another of our goals, which is to be the employer of choice within the area.
Alongside our excellent team we want to help those in need to be able to access the most rounded support available, blending high quality CAREGivers, advances in care centred technology and a professionally managed care service.
Outside of Home Instead we are kept busy by our young family.
Jennifer- Head of CAREGiver Experience
I recently joined Home Instead in March 2021 as the Head of CAREGiver Experience. I have almost 10 years’ experience working in various positions in Homecare and began my journey as a CAREGiver in 2012. Much of my career has been spent mobilising new Homecare branches in different areas. I am passionate about providing the best quality services and joined Home Instead Doncaster as I feel I share the same values as both Rob & Zoe and share their goals to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating from CQC.
My role here is CAREGiver focussed and my responsibility is to oversee the Recruitment, Retention, Training and Engagement to improve the overall CAREGiver Experience.
I like to think I am a positive and approachable person! I’ve been known to be a bit of a workaholic but when I’m not at work you might find me out walking or maybe enjoying a bottomless brunch!!
Claire- Business Development Manager
After working for over 7 years in the renewable energy sector I joined Home Instead as Business Development Manager in September 2019. My role is to drive growth in the business, network and build relationships with key partners and co-ordinate Community Events to increase our brand awareness about the outstanding care we provide our clients in their own home.
In April 2020 I also became responsible for Client Experience, making sure that we are doing our very best to support clients to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
When I am not in the office you will find me either at my allotment or on long walks down the Trans Pennine Trail!
I joined Home Instead over 2 years ago as a CAREGiver. I have always enjoyed being around the older generation as most of my relatives were cared for by my mum.
I worked for Doncaster council for over 25 years as a carer then progressed into management. I have run a Reablement Unit for 5 years for 6 Dementia Patients for up to a period of 4 weeks where I was able to assist them to heal and be well in a safe environment.
I now assist Caroline with the training and alongside this I am privileged to support the CAREGivers. I love my role and wish I had found this a very long time ago. Our CAREGivers always go that extra mile for our clients so supporting them is a pleasure and an honour to be able to do this.
Caroline- Recruitment Manager
I joined Home Instead over 2.5 years ago initially as a weekend and evening CAREGiver to give something back to the older generation in my local community.
My background is in recruitment and education. I found Home Instead Doncaster such a great place to work and I recruit all of our CAREGivers to join our amazing team, alongside delivering our induction training.
I still work in the community supporting our clients and have found it the most rewarding job with the most supportive company ever. Our CAREGivers always go that extra mile for our clients so supporting them is a pleasure.
Julie- Care Planner
Following a 12 career working as a Senior Operator for a telecare company I decided to have one last career move having worked as CAREGiver for several months on my days off. I had previously worked in retail and the hospitality Industry
I joined the Doncaster Office as the Care Planner in the summer of 2020 being responsible for speaking to potential clients and their families , arranging the consultations , putting together the CARE Plans and ensuring a smooth transition when the CAREGivers first attend.
Knowing that we are providing the best care in for our clients has been the most satisfying part of the job.
Nina- Care Administrator
With a background in publishing and HR, I joined Home Instead Doncaster in July 2020, and I already feel like part of the family!
As Care Administrator, I hope to provide a friendly, helpful and efficient point of contact for clients and CAREGivers. I provide administrative support to the care team to help things to run smoothly, so we can provide the highest quality service to clients.
In my spare time, I like to play one of my several guitars, preferring classical and flamenco styles, but it’s not unknown for me to occasionally burst into song!
Elaine- Systems and Quality Officer
I joined Homeinstead in 2019 having never worked in the care sector before but can honestly say it has been so rewarding. I have met and worked with some fantastic clients and CAREGivers.
I now work on a variety of projects which are designed to support office staff and CAREGivers. I ensure the systems we are using are fit for purpose and we are utilising full functionality wherever possible. Technology is not everyone’s ‘thing’ but I am here to support and simplify these processes when required. We are on a mission to become paperless and have everything accessible online, we are making great progress on this journey.
Aziz- Digital Marketing Assistant
I joined Home Instead in June 2020 to complete my placement year from university as their first placement student. I was very lucky to be given this exciting and challenging opportunity.
My role involves being at the heart of the company’s digital marketing activity. An important cog in the marketing wheel, I contribute creatively to the continued growth and development of the organisation.
When I am not at work, I enjoy supporting the best English football team Manchester United (some may beg to differ!), going for walks in the Peak District and visiting the gym.
Wendy- Care Team Leader
I am new to Home Instead and have taken on the role of Care Team Leader supporting Julie Colbear, as much as I am new to the company, I have been in the care sector for 15+ years in various roles.
My role at Home Instead will be client based so I will be going out and doing new client consultations, drawing up care plans and maintaining the current care plans to make sure they are current and up to date. Alongside this, I will be liaising with families and clients to ensure a smooth running of the service.
Ann- Care Team Leader
I have recently joined Home Instead as Team Leader. Before this I have spent the last 42 years in the field of dentistry, first as a nurse and then as a Head Nurse/Practice Support Manager/Compliance Manager. During this time, I have also worked in the care field as a carer and befriender. Caring is my passion and I decided to make this one final career move after researching Home Instead and finding that their mission matched everything that I value in providing a high-quality service and at the same time ensuring that the whole team is supported and valued for their contribution.
I cared for my mother (Gladys) who I lost in 2007 to Alzheimer’s disease. This journey only heightened my wish to strive to make a difference in helping people to live full and happy lives in their own homes.
On a personal level I was born and bred in Doncaster and I am passionate about making improvements to the quality of life of people living in the area.
I am married and have two wonderful grown-up children Josh and Charlotte. I love music and the outdoors. Even though I am getting on a bit you may find me jumping up and down at a concert or two! Or on the other hand just relaxing in my lazy spa.
