Hi, my name is Rob Moore and I am the franchise owner here in Doncaster,

At Home Instead we are committed to providing the highest level of care to senior people in Doncaster, South Pontefract, Went Valley, Snaith and the surrounding areas. Our aim is to provide the highest possible quality of care, ensuring that loved ones can be cared for within the comfort of their own homes. We are striving to change the face of ageing and believe that great care lies at the heart of achieving this. I am lucky enough to have all my grandparents still alive and they are a key motivator for me in providing good care and ensuring that the level of care I would expect for them is given to our clients.

We specialise in non-medical care for older people. This can include anything from companionship, accompanying clients to social engagements, home help, meal preparation, and personal care to specialised services for people with dementia and their families.

At Home Instead we believe that great relationships make great care and we make sure that we build excellent relationships between our Clients and our CAREGivers, in order for us to build these effective relationships we make sure we:

  • Provide absolute consistency in CAREGiver attending
  • Ensure our CAREGivers turn up on time, every time.
  • Provide visits of minimum 1 hour to enable care to be relationship led

The relationship between the CAREGiver and the people we care for is absolutely vital in ensuring the quality of service and maintaining consistency and reliability. It is this relationship based approach that makes our service a truly personal one and allows Home Instead to help senior people maintain an independent lifestyle in their own homes.

We ensure our CAREGivers are the right people but are also happy working within our team. We believe that if our CAREGivers are cared for by us the level of care given will be of the best standard.

 We do this by:

  • Careful and rigorous recruitment
  • Value based recruitment to ensure that this is not just a job
  • The Mum Test (Would we allow them to care for our own Mums)
  • DBS checking of each employee
  • Six references for each employee
  • Industry leading training
  • Paying a living wage to our CAREGivers
  • Ongoing assessment of Learning and Training needs
  • Career development

Whilst our care focusses upon the needs of the individual we recognise that our service impacts upon the wider family. Our tailored, personalised service provides complete piece of mind and reassurance to families. We are always only a phone call away and we use quality assurance systems to ensure our CAREGivers visit our clients on schedule and on time to provide the reassurance that the care promised is being delivered.
