Being a CAREGiver
Being a CAREGiver at Home Instead in Cambridge and its surounds has been described by a number of current CAREGIvers as the most rewarding job that they have had.
In fact, they don't really view it as a job, more a pleasure and a privilege to share in the lives of some of the most remarkable people in our country.
Cambridge offers a huge range of client groups, from academics to farmers, innovators to retired nurses. All have stories to tell that range from the fascinating to the ridiculous. However, what they all have in common is a great love of life, a rich tapestry of experiences and the will to share their memories with our CAREGIvers.
And because Home Instead CAREGivers are given at least an hour each and every visit, there's time to get to know the clients and share their lives, as well as encourage and support them to remain independent.
All this is backed up by specialist training, devoted office staff and a culture where team is key and the individual important.
What do you need to join the team? Simple. An interest in people, an ability to talk to them and listen even more and a sense of responsibility that means you really care. We will help you learn and be great at the rest.
Give Christine or Alison a call in the office on 01480 576737 to discuss what this role offers you.
It is such a delight to come home and find F all buoyant after his morning with Tim (Caregiver). I think it's rebuilding his confidence, not just passing his mornings, having someone taking an active and intelligent interest in him and his past. Tim is one good egg.PP, Clients daughter, Cambridge
