We used Home Instead for the first time in September 2022 and the experience was excellent in all respects. My wife and I look after my mother (95 years old) at home and we needed someone to cover for us while we went on holiday for two weeks. The care manager obviously thought very carefully about which carer would be a good fit for Mum before introducing her to us. We had an introductory visit at home and a follow up to cover any questions before we went away. It worked perfectly. Daily Scrabble games, some trips out to the local park, lunches and dinners prepared. They got on with each other very well. We regularly take our clients out to groups and events or to go shopping or to healthcare appointments.
