We provide a daily companionship service to Elaine who lives in the Ripponden area and is experiencing mobility issues. We take her out for walks to help keep her independent and also to at lunch club at St. Bart’s Church for company and companionship. We also take clients out shopping, to GP, hospital and other healthcare appointments and can accompany them on outings or to meet friends and family.
Elderly people can quickly become lonely and isolated, which is why we regularly support our clients in attending local groups and events, such as the Riverside Dementia Café and Lunch Club at St. Bartholomew’s Church and the 2 O’Clock Club at the Ripponden Club. From just two or three hours each week to 24-hour care, we provide consistent support, companionship, and reassurance to clients and families across all areas of Ripponden and the Ryburn Valley.
