Home Instead offers ORCHA technology
Home Instead is delighted to have partnered with ORCHA to enhance the health experience we provide to our Clients and their families. The technology will support us in achieving the Home Instead vision to change the face of ageing.
ORCHA is the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps. The organisation was set up to evaluate, approve and review the many and varied health and social care apps, to ensure that users were reading and receiving information that is accurate and in line with governing body regulations, as well as the WHO.
ORCHA is the world’s largest reviewer of health and care apps. The company reviews apps for the NHS, as well as ministries and departments of health around the world – helping people to navigate the 350,000 health and care apps on the market. They create libraries of these reviewed apps, helping people find those that have good clinical assurance, data privacy and user experience.
Home Instead nationally will be working with ORCHA in three areas: to provide people enquiring about our services the option to search for recommended apps and to recommend apps to our Clients and their families. We will also be working with ORCHA to ensure the Home Instead Tablet is fully personalised to the Client and their needs.
Anyone can access the ORCHA website (https://homeinstead.orcha.co.uk) - using this link, you will be able to navigate, view and compare apps available via the site.
