Caroline Aherne

Caroline Aherne - Owner

Hello, I am Caroline and the owner of Home Instead Bexhill, Battle, St Leonards and Hastings and I am proud to have opened this office and to be able bring to the local community the unique experience of Home Instead. I have personal experience of caring for a loved one and I know that we get one opportunity to deliver the right type of care to our clients and we strive to do this every time.

We are a local family run office, providing non-medical services to help older people in our local community so they can remain in their own homes where they are most comfortable and happiest.

Many families these days have huge pressures on their time and often don’t live locally to their loved ones. This is why we want to be able to give people peace of mind knowing that when they can’t be there, we will be providing companionship and care services just as they would want.

Our services are tailored to the needs of each client, and CAREGivers are matched to their clients based on mutual interests. All our visits are for a minimum of one hour, and we are devoted to meeting our clients’ needs by providing a service of the highest quality from our CAREGivers, who deliver our service with warmth, friendliness and pride. We enable our CAREGivers to deliver this service by giving them the best training and support.

Our aim is to change the face of ageing in our local community. By fully training our CAREGivers and carrying out detailed client consultations, our clients will have the companionship they are seeking with someone they can trust and who they know will support them. This cannot be done during short duration visits - so our visits will be for a minimum of one hour.

My team and I are passionate about helping our clients to remain safely,  happily and independently in their own homes.

To us it's personal!

Paige Hayden - CAREGiver Experience Co-ordinator

Hi, I’m Paige. I joined Home Instead in October 2021, after previously working in residential care. In the past, I experienced some of my own residents using the Home Instead service, so I was really excited to have the opportunity to work here. I love companionship that we offer, as well as the great relationships that we build with our clients

My role at Home Instead involves looking after the CAREGivers, supporting them within their roles and ensuring that the paperwork and office side runs smoothly.

In my spare time, I enjoy learning about Psychology and playing the ukulele!
