Mandy Aitken, Founder & Managing Director
Hi, I’m Mandy, the Managing Director of Home Instead Beverley & Hull. I was born and raised in the U.S., then married a Yorkshireman so have been calling the UK my home since 2005. After many years in the financial services industry, I was very keen to find a way to do something to benefit my community. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to open a Home Instead office to support our local area. I love the ethos of the company and the positive impact we can make on the lives of our clients and their families.
I will be drawing on my years of experience in project management, human resources and training to create an amazing team of caring individuals who really want to provide care in the right way. We don’t just pop in, do a few jobs and pop out. We take the time to build relationships with our clients, so that we can help them to continue to live the life they want to live, no matter their age.
Lynne George, Care Manager
Hi, my name is Lynne. I have spent the last 37 years working in care, and I am passionate about delivering a high standard of personal support and care.
I have my NVQ Level 4 in Care and Management and a Registered Manager Award. Throughout my career I have worked with people in their own homes and helped to promote their independence as must as possible. I have worked as a Domestic assistant, care assistant, senior care assistant and a home care manager within a care home. In all of these roles, enabling person centred care has always been important to me.
I would never want to do any other job as I just want to make people feel that no matter what their needs, they too can still have a choice in how they live their lives.
Caroline Gibbons, Office Administrator
Hi, I’m Caroline. I am a Beverley girl through and through. I love animals, when I was younger I wanted to be a vet. I enjoy reading and baking (although I am not up to bake off standard!), but I often try out new recipes on my friends and family.
I recently made a big career change out of the pharmaceutical industry where I worked for 10 years to join Home Instead, which I am thoroughly enjoying. It is lovely to work for a company whose values are clearly seen from how they interact with staff to the service they provide to our clients, and to be a small part of that is very rewarding. I enjoy spending time with my grandparents and know first-hand how valuable and loved they are. This motivates me in my work, as I know I am supporting a service that strives to provide the standard of care I would want for my own family.

Hello, I’m Andrew and along with Mandy, I am the co-founder of Home Instead Beverley & Hull. I was drawn to Home Instead because of the company’s strong ethos and its commitment to providing high quality, relationship led care in your own home. I’m passionate that everyone should be able to live by their own rules, under their own roof for as long as they choose and we help our clients do just that.

The most important qualities we look for in potential CAREGivers are compassion, empathy and a caring nature. We find people who care about their community and then give them all the training they need to deliver outstanding homecare.
Matching CAREGivers with clients
We know how important relationships are when it comes to delivering care. We start by matching CAREGivers and clients with things in common and then make sure that our CAREGivers work with the same clients each week.
A Personalised Care Service
We’ll work with you to design the level of care that you want, from a couple of hours a week to 24 hours a day. It’s completely flexible. We provide any mix of Companionship, Home Help and Housekeeping, Personal care, Alzheimers and Dementia care, Caring Technology and Live In care.
We provide live updates to client’s families on the homecare services we are providing to their loved ones. Modern technology makes communication with our clients and their families so much easier, but we don’t take it for granted. We still like to talk and as owners of the business Mandy and I are always available to speak with you and answer any questions.
