Meet Our Team

Home Instead Ascot Caregivers

Our CAREGivers

We have a fantastic team of committed, reliable and compassionate CAREGivers who share one thing in common - a truly caring nature.

Just like our clients, our CAREGivers are all individuals with their own unique qualities and experiences. Our team come from a wide variety of backgrounds and age ranges and many of our CAREGivers have personal experience of helping family members before joining us. We especially look for positive thinkers who use their initiative every day to bring joy to the lives of those in our care.

All of our CAREGivers receive a clear enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check before visiting any of our clients, and we check 4 references so we can be confident we are hiring the very best.

Our CAREGivers are trained to support people with whatever they need and many have completed our City and Guilds accredited training programme designed by national and internationally renowned dementia and Alzheimers experts. Most importantly of all, our CAREGivers are lovely, caring people who really enjoy their jobs and the office team are proud to work with them.

If you feel you have what it takes to help an elderly person in your community, even for a few hours a week, please get in touch.

Home Instead Ascot - Maggie

Maggie - Owner

I'm Maggie and I'm very proud to be running a business that is transforming the way we provide care for people in the Ascot, Camberley and Wokingham area. I love the ethos of Home Instead and how our CAREGivers make a real difference to the lives of our clients.

I'm a Dementia Champion and support the Alzheimer's Society by presenting Dementia Friends talks to interested groups in the local area, and I am a founding member of the Dementia Action Alliance for Bagshot, Lightwater and Windlesham.

I worked in the financial software industry for 24 years before becoming a Home Instead owner. My priority in software and now at Home Instead is always to provide the best possible service to clients. My most rewarding experiences have come from working with clients, understanding their needs and then providing them with the service they need.

I am incredibly proud of Home Instead. The office staff and our team of CAREGivers honestly care for every client as though they were our own parents. I am constantly amazed by the lengths our CAREGivers go to when they are supporting our clients.

The praise we hear from our clients and their families and the fantastic results from our annual PEAQ survey makes it clear that all of our efforts are appreciated and we are determined to continue to build a company to be proud of.

Home Instead Owner Pete

Pete - Owner

I'm the Co-Owner of Home Instead Ascot, I’m responsible for anything that involves numbers. I like analysing ideas, looking at all the facts and the figures and working out the right thing for us as a team to do, but in the knowledge that the results of all this are very real; our clients live decent independent lives and our caregivers have jobs that suit them because we manage to pull it all together and make it work!

In my spare time, I’ve been enjoying racing a car, a Caterham 7, for a couple of seasons, but I’m going to stick to Playstation racing with friends from now on - less scary and a lot cheaper. I play the piano to relax; well it relaxes me; not so sure about everyone else.

Kasia Operations Manager

Kasia - Operations Manager

I am the Operations Manager for Home Instead in Bagshot. My job is to ensure quality and efficiency in all aspects of the business as well as to keep the team happy and well looked after at all levels. I have been with Home Instead for 7 years and I always welcome new challenges and opportunities. In my new role, I get to be more involved in the intricacies of the company, but I’m still responsible for ensuring quality support for clients and CAREGivers, which is the best of both worlds!

I'm from a small town in Eastern Poland and I look back very fondly at my childhood there – carefree and outdoors all the time. Now I enjoy being inside - I’m one of those people that clean for pleasure - other than that, an evening on the sofa with a good book and my dogs snuggled up to me is always a win!

Nicola Deputy Care Manager

Nicola - Deputy Care Manager

I am Deputy Care Manager at Home Instead, working with Carly. It's a varied role looking after all of our clients and caregivers and making sure everyone is safe and happy. I love the variety of the role. I get to talk to lots of different people from all different walks of life every day, and hopefully, I get to make their lives a little easier in the process.

One of my favourite things at the moment is the forest, I am incredibly lucky to be able to take our dog on long walks through the woodlands in all weathers!

Carly Deputy Care Manager

Carly - Deputy Care Manager

I am Deputy Care Manager, alongside Nicola. It's my job to look after our clients and caregivers on a daily basis and to make sure everything runs smoothly with their visits. I really enjoy meeting different people and seeing the positive impact having CAREGivers is doing for our client's independence.

When Covid is over, I can't wait to get away to Cornwall with my family and our dog - I'm dreaming of thatched roofs, cosy cottages and log fires!

Joanne Care Coordinator

Joanne - Care Coordinator

Joanne joined Home Instead in Bagshot in May 2019, after working with Home Instead in Woking for 6 years.

Joanne brings with her a wealth of knowledge about the art of scheduling effectively: to make sure our clients have the visits they have requested and see the same Caregivers for each visit, and also that our Caregivers are able to work the hours they want.

Paddy Head of CAREGiver Learning and Development

Paddy - Head of CAREGiver Learning and Development

My role is to provide training to our CAREGivers and support them with any further Qualifications they may want to achieve - I love this aspect of the job as it enables me to help make a difference in someone's life when they are needing support.

My current role is a little different to my favourite memory...being on a stage at the Southend Airshow and getting 4000 people to sing Angels by Robbie Williams.

Charlie Client Care Supervisor

Charlie - Client Care Supervisor

I have recently been promoted to client care supervisor, this is a varied role that involves supporting the deputy care managers, the office team and making sure the clients are happy and safe.

In my spare time, I like to do a variety of things from binge-watching a good Netflix series, to attending yoga or Clubbercise classes online. When Covid is over and we're allowed out again I am going to enjoy seeing my friends and making up for all the shopping trips I've missed!
