This Friday Lucy supported Team Wildfire (http://teamwildfire.co.uk) to help them raise £10,000 for CAFT (Children’s Adventure Farm Trust)
The Adventure Farm is a haven for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from across the Northwest providing week long holidays to children in desperate need. A magical special place where laughter and happy times are encouraged, friendships blossom, illnesses and sorrows are forgotten.
They held a Ladies Evening at All saints Parish Hall Hale Barns, where Home instead Senior Care Altrincham held a care information stand, Lucy was also able to support the Wellgreen Lodge knitting team by helping to sell their Woolly Wonder Bears. (see ‘Knitting with Care’ news article for pattern)
Over the last year Wellgreen have raise over £1000 for CAFT and will be holding a stand hoping to raise even more, at The Timperley Country fair on the 8 Sept 2012, Home Instead Senior Care Altrincham will be their too, hopefully this year we will again be supporting The Carers Center, this time raising funds for their craft group by selling their craft products, so come along and grab yourself something made with love.
