Home Instead golfers tee off for charity

Alan Savage from Altrincham based care-at-home company Home Instead Senior Care joined with three golfing colleagues recently to lend his support to the Alzheimer’s Society annual golf day at Prestbury Golf Club, helping to raise funds to support local services.

Keen golfer Alan said: “Home Instead provides care for elderly people and so we understand the effects of Alzheimer’s and are experienced in caring for people suffering from the disease.  We had no hesitation in putting together a team and also sponsoring a tee on the day to support the charity.”

Jo Hawkins, from the Alzheimer’s Society, organised the day and said: “We are very grateful to everyone who took part.  The event is now in its 10th year and as always, with 14 teams taking part, our supporters turned out in force to raise vital funds for this worthwhile cause and make it a very enjoyable event.”
