#YouCanCare 2022

It's #YouCanCare week! This is a national campaign organised to raise awareness of the valuable and rewarding nature of working in the care sector. Our aim is to raise awareness of the care sector and to inform people about how rewarding working in care can be.

This week we're hosting pop-up recruitment events within the community. Come along and chat to Racheal, our Recruitment Manager, for more information about working at Home Instead.

  • Wednesday 23/02/22, 11am - 1pm, Tadcaster Leisure Centre
  • Thursday 24/02/22, 11am - 1pm, Morrisons Wetherby

As we live in an ageing population, there is an ever-increasing need for CAREGivers to help support people in our community. At Home Instead, we are always recruiting for great CAREGivers and have a number of different contracts available, including part-time guaranteed hours, evenings and weekends contracts and full-time salaried roles. The are many benefits to joining Home Instead Wetherby & North Leeds, including:

  • Earn up to £15 an hour
  • Travel and waiting time paid on top of hourly rate
  • Receive £300 joining bonus
  • Paid for initial and on-going training

Over the next week, we will be sharing stories and positive messages across our social media, which will highlight how the role of a CAREGiver is perhaps a little different to how it might be perceived. We will also be offering tips, advice and support for carers and those being cared for. We hope you will join us in sharing this positive message in and around our local community. Please share this information to anyone you know who may be looking for a new career, or if you are looking to move into the sector yourself, then please get in touch.
