We were pleased to welcome Gemma White to our offices for a week’s work experience in July. Gemma, aged 15, is a pupil at Harrogate Grammar School and is aiming to go into the medical profession. Gemma proved to be very proficient and capable in carrying out all the various tasks she was given, but the highlight of her week was meeting our oldest client, a lady aged 102!

Gemma wrote: “Doing my work experience placement at Home Instead Wetherby offered lots of valuable experience in health and social care. I also became more independent and learned what it is like to travel to and from work every day. I hope that the skills and knowledge I have gained will help me in the future when I am applying for a real job and I can look back on this experience in many years to come.”

We wish Gemma a bright and prosperous future in her chosen career.
