Margaret Brennan, owner of Home Instead Wetherby & North Leeds is proud to support this year’s Marie Curie Cancer Care Daffodil Appeal. The appeal runs each year to raise awareness and funds to pay for Marie Curie nurses - specially trained nurses who offer night sitting services for people suffering from cancer.
“Home Instead is about providing quality care, enabling people to remain living independently in their own homes for as long as possible and we have seen how clients and their families benefit from the skills and services provided by the Marie Curie nurses.” Margaret commented
Margaret, a trained nurse who specialised in cancer and palliative care services and who has worked in several hospices including a Marie Curie hospice in London, has been a member of the local Wetherby Marie Curie fundraising group since November 2011. Margaret has helped deliver boxes of Marie Curie Daffodils to around 50 local businesses, GP surgeries, dentists, coffee shops and pubs.
