Home Instead get involved with Mental Health event at the Abbey Centre

Home Instead Westminster
are getting into the festive spirit, by focusing on engaging with the local community! On the first day of December we attended the Mental Health Day Services event at the Abbey Centre. The event saw care organisations join together for an open “Market Day” where members of the community were able to come and find out more about the support available to them in the local area.

Home Instead Westminster sent their newest office member, Emma, who started as with Home Instead this past year, she said;

                “It was a great day with loads of activities going on throughout the afternoon, and it meant local people were able to find a range of services all in one room to get just a taster of what’s available.”

This event was new to the area, but has inspired new ideas for the new year. The access to such a range of services means the person looking for support is the focus, and they can find an activity that suits them as well as try out some new things and have a really fun time along the way. The Abbey Centre is the perfect location in the centre of London and a great environment for people to meet and talk.
