Our Watford Heroes – Home Instead Senior Care Watford

A few weeks ago Watford Council started recognising the #WatfordHeroes on their Facebook page and it was wonderful to see that the CAREGivers at Home Instead Watford were featured!

It pictured some of our CAREGivers with some of our clients, taken before the outbreak, and it showcased how much care workers do and have done before and during this pandemic. It highlighted how they are playing a vital part in supporting communities in the fight against Covid-19 and keeping many different groups of vulnerable people safe at home.

Alongside our very own CAREGivers other people to be recognised ranged from NHS staff to Aid teams.
Massimo and Annalisa have been delivering hot meals to 60 elderly people every day since lockdown as part of the One Vision Project.
The Watford & Bushey Covid-19 Mutual Aid Team are working with the council and Watford & Three Rivers Trust and are providing community support to those who are more at risk from the virus including food parcels, collecting medicine or just having a chat.
Veolia UK were also mentioned for their outstanding job in maintaining household waste collections and of course the doctors, nurses and volunteers at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust were also featured.

Thank you to Watford Council for including us in their #WatfordHeroes post, it makes us incredibly proud of the amazing people who work for us.
