We are delighted to announce that Home Instead has been awarded the UK’s highest accolade in business – The Queens Award for Enterprise 2016 in the area of innovation.
Our new model of delivering quality, companionship-based care has won us the honour of the award under ‘innovation’. Through our concentration on social wellbeing, companionship and our minimum one hour visits, we have been recognised as showing great innovative thinking in the care industry.
It is a testament to the delivery of high quality care by our CAREgivers and the implementation of the ethos of home instead that we have been award this national recognition.
Home Instead differs from services provided by local authorities where funding has meant shorter, more focused at home visits without the time to build meaningful relationships for clients and we are overjoyed that our way of caring has been recognised in such esteem.
A Thank you from co-founders of Home Instead – Sam and Trevor Brocklebank
“A huge well done to all our franchise owners, office teams, CAREGivers and clients for making this award possible.
Whilst we brought the Home Instead ethos to the UK, it is your unwavering commitment to our relationship-led, personalised care model that has made this reward a reality.
As you know, like many of you, our inspiration for our business has always been personal and we know Trevors’ Grandad, Frank Coppock, would be delighted to hear of our success.
The Queens Award is the pinnacle of business achievement in the UK and we are delighted to share the news with you. You should all be extremely proud of your contribution to this amazing accolade.”
