New way of life
It’s very strange times we find ourselves in but we’ve had to slowly adjust to this temporary new way of life.
We have had to find new ways of keeping ourselves busy in our own homes and luckily the internet has come alive with new ways or entertaining ourselves, keeping ourselves fit, discovering hidden talents such as playing a musical instrument and finding new hobbies such like drawing or painting.
Communities have had to pull together to help each other. Those in self isolation have had food delivered, those who are alone have had neighbours and loved ones check on them and we have all found new ways of communicating through various forms of social media.
Our very own CAREGivers have found ways to keep busy while they are not out caring for our clients. They’ve been cooking, drawing, baking, knitting, making jewellery, gardening, doing puzzles and enjoying the sunshine (when it’s here!) Each week we have put together a newsletter with contributions from CAREGivers and key players, sharing what we have been doing which has been keeping us all connected.
The most important thing is that our clients are still being looked after by our wonderful CAREGivers as this is the time they need them more than ever. And for that we thank them!
