Local care company nominated for Hertfordshire care award

Leading at-home care provider in Watford, Home Instead, has been selected as one of three finalists for the overall winner of ‘Best Care Business with less than 50 employees’ category, in the coveted 2012 Hertfordshire Care Provider Association awards.

The criteria for the award specify a business with a good local reputation that is working to develop and maintain their services, providing staff with continual support and working with other organisations and teams to deliver a high standard of care.

The business was nominated in May and Peter Neighbour, the owner of Watford Home Instead, recently attended a final interview with the judging panel after which the winner will be announced at a gala event at Knebworth House on 30th November.

Peter, who has been running the business for two years said: “The interview was really interesting and engaging, and I was asked in depth about what I felt good care looked like. It’s been a positive process which I have really enjoyed.”
