#YouCanCare week was launched in January 2018 and was so successful that it has been relaunched! This year it will be held on Monday 25th February  to  Sunday 3rd March. The idea behind #YouCanCare is to reach out to people who may not have thought about a career in care before but who could be just right for the role.

You may not realise that simply being caring and kind is one of the main requirements for becoming a carer. You don’t need care experience to be a CAREGiver. If you have the right qualities and can commit to a certain number of hours, then we can provide first class training, ongoing support and flexible hours for you in an incredibly rewarding role. We are looking for special people who can build relationships with clients and help them to stay safely and happily in their own homes for longer.

We employ CAREGivers of any age and any background - from people who may have worked in retail or in nurseries to those who have retired but still have plenty more to give, to mum's or dad’s looking for part time work. Case studies show how the role of CAREGiver has been a great opportunity and experience for all types of people.

During #YouCanCare Week we will be sharing positive stories from our CAREGivers - these experiences might go towards explaining why 92% of our current CAREGivers would recommend Home Instead as a great place to work!
