A letter of appreciation from a client

We recently recieved a wonderful letter from one of our clients, expressing their gratitude for one of our dedicated CAREGivers.

We feel that this CAREGiver fully embodies the ethos of Home Instead Senoir Care.

For the purpose of confidentiality, names have been removed, but we had to share this lovely letter with you.

Dear Mr Neighbour,

As you may or may not be aware, my father slipped in the bath managing to cut his head in the process. Thankfully for him – and me – he was being cared for at the time by Nira Thacker, whose empathetically effective management of the situation in the immediate aftermath of the incident, I have no doubt, prevented its escalation into something more serious. 

My father has come to trust Nira implicitly and I know that his affection for her is very real (despite his condition), especially given his disappointment when she is not able to look after him for any reason!!

I work full time – and can only continue to do so with the support that your company gives us. It is always a great source of comfort for me that I can leave for work secure in the knowledge that Nira will be arriving imminently to get Dad ready for the day. I shudder to think what would have happened had she not been here last Monday.

With approval from your office, I have given her some flowers – although that seems a very inadequate way of thanking her for all she did that morning to ensure that Dad’s wound was attended to and his dementia wasn’t further compromised in any way. I’m rather hoping that you might be able to reflect my comments in this mail...

...so, please accept my grateful thanks, especially for allocating Nira to us, but also for the caring approach all Dad’s CAREGivers (Jody, Karen, Sue and Chris) apply to their time with him.
