We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoy welcoming in the New Year.
We think that 2016 been a fabulous year for Home Instead Watford!
We’ve delivered exceptional care for members of the local community, taken on new clients, lots of new CAREGivers as well as two members of office staff, Kelly and Emma.
This year saw us host our first ever client and CAREGiver event which was a vintage themed afternoon tea attended by the Deputy Mayor of Hertsmere. We also had our annual summer BBQ, Christmas party at the Three Crowns and had a mulled wine, mince pie gathering before the Christmas break.
Earlier in the year, the office team got together for a team building day, where we discussed the future of Home Instead Watford and came up with ‘Our Vision’ which is the life and soul of our business.
During the Summer, we had a week dedicated to the anonymous and independent ‘PEAQ’ survey (Pursuing Excellence by Advancing Quality). This enables all Home Instead staff and clients to anonymously give feedback on the company both as a service provider and an employer. To mark this week and encourage people to participate, we had a dress up day which was a lot of fun and themed days with food from different cultures. We were delighted to have improved upon last year in every aspect when we received the results!
With a business plan for the new year already in motion, the office began expanding, starting with our new training room ready to support new CAREGivers and continue training existing ones. The room also provides a nice environment for our CAREGivers and clients to have a warm drink and somewhere to wait when they come into the office.
We are so looking forward to the new year, to meet new CAREGivers and clients, continue growing the business and cannot wait to see what 2017 brings!
