About Home Instead Watford
Welcome to Home Instead Senior Care Watford. We are so pleased you have found our page.
Home Instead’s purpose is to "change the face of ageing" by becoming the most respected home care company in the UK. In practical terms for us this means building a local team of people with passion, enthusiasm and commitment; who want to help the elderly in our community remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. The key criteria we look for when recruiting new team members is empathy. This is not something that can be trained and indeed many of our team have direct experience in looking after a family member themselves.
Peter had first-hand experience of trying to find the right care for his Aunt Marge who suffered with Alzheimer’s disease. He just could not find the right care to suit her needs, and felt that there was no option for her but to move into a residential care home where she rapidly went downhill and sadly passed away two months later. Peter is sure that Marge would have lived longer and been far happier in her own home. We want to provide this choice for other people. The ethos of Home Instead really stood out to me as they focus on service first and business second. We want to provide a service that we would be happy to use for myself and our family.
We are always looking for caring and friendly people to join our team. If you are interested to find out more please CLICK HERE TO APPLY
Sometimes it’s the simple things that matter, like having the same person coming at times that suit you, to do the things that you want. It’s not difficult, but it makes all the difference.
Our office is open in Watford Business Park and you are welcome to pop in any time for a chat and a cup of tea. We also like to be involved in local community events and fundraising initiatives to help the elderly in our community.
We all just wanted to thank you and your terrific carers for the standard of care and help that has been given and is being given. Her caregivers have been outstanding. They treat her with respect and dignity and they all always end up having a laugh and joke. All 3 ladies should be very proud of the service they give, well done. Your team could see the improvement with my mother after a few weeks of being home from a long stay in hospital and rehab following her stroke. They have encouraged her to do exercises and mum has responded positively to her caregivers guidance. She can now stand and walk a few steps; her posture when sitting is back to normal and she no longer requires the use of the hoist. We also know that with your company, you are only a phone call away if we need help and you have already helped us with doctors referrals and alot of sound advice. We would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone who needs high quality care and help. From Mrs J E - WatfordMrs J E - Watford
