What Does Good Care Look & Feel Like?

On Tueday 11th September 2012, John Barnsby, Director, made a presentation at the "Multi Professional Elderly Care Educational Lunch" at the Post Graduate Centre at Warrington Hospital.

Amongst those present were Dr K Mahawish, Consultant in General, Geriatric & Stroke Medicine and Mrs M Kendall, Lead Consultant Nurse in Palliative Care.

John explained the background to Home Instead Senior Care, being a Global/Local company, its core values and mission statement - "To become the UK's most admired Care Company through changing the face of ageing".

John further explained the services available, Companionship/Home Help/Personal, Respite, Dementia and Alzheimer's Care, specialising in non-medical care of adults in their own homes delivered with Dignity, Respect and is always Person Centred.

"An Ageing Population" - by 2030 it is predicted that the population aged 65+ in Warrington will have increased by nearly 60% from 2010 levels - including a 110% rise in the population over 80 - over the sale period the population aged 16-64 is projected to rise by only 0.3%

In summary John reinforced Home Instead Senior Care core values - looking after loved ones with respect, dignity and compassion. That they were immensely proud of the work carried out supporting families and older people, and through regular meetings, and close contact with their at home clients, their families and their CAREGivers they can provide unique ongoing care that adapts to changing needs.
