Be a Santa to a Senior

Be a Santa to Senior has been a huge success, we've had a fantastic response and received lots of wonderful gifts from the Warrington Community, We would particularly like to thank, Woolston Co-op, Bizzie Beans Coffee House, Warrington Business park and our own CAREGivers who, as usual were very generous. We held a 'create a gift tag' afternoon at Bizzie Beans Coffee shop and invited children from local schools to put their best artwork to the test; the tags were amazing and so personal. The gifts have now been collected and wrapped with the help of the team and volunteers Emma, Ryan and Ella. The gifts have now been delivered to Salvation Army, local district nurses, Warrington hospital and the Later Life and Memory team at Hollins Park who were really pleased to be able to take some of the gifts for patients on the Kingsley Ward and also for some of their patients in the community. Christmas can sometimes be a difficult time and receiving a gift and just knowing you are special can make a real difference. As the manager of the team said, “there are many very generous people out there and it is so good to be able to pass that on to people who really need it
