Finalists - Great British Care Awards North West Region 2018

We are very proud to announce that Home Instead Southport & Formby have been shortlisted as finalists in the North West Regional Great British Care Awards 2018 for four awards including: Registered Care Manager Award, Personalisation / Putting people First Award, Trainer Award and Home Care Team Award.

Leanne Stubbs recognised for the Registered Care Manager Award has been with us since the business began back in 2007 having previously worked as a CAREGiver. During her time with us Leanne has gained her qualification in care management and leadership and a BSc honours degree in Therapy Radiography. Her skills and knowledge enable Leanne to be a living leader to the office team and a driver for consistent quality and assurance. Leanne is passionate about ensuring that the care provided to every single one of our clients, is consistent, reliable and adaptable to meet peoples changing needs.

Charlotte Baines recognised for the Personalisation / Putting people First Award joined us in 2010 as a CAREGiver. Charlotte’s reputation and experience for delivering a first-class service was quickly recognised and she was promoted to Deputy Care Manager in 2016.  She also continues to show her passion for her role through delivery of our Alzheimer's and Dementia training programme, accredited by City and Guilds. Charlotte is an ambassador to putting people first.

Liz Farrell recognised for the Trainer Award joined us in 2009 with a wealth of experience in social care and training. Liz’s personalised approach to ensure CAREGivers are matched to clients through experience, background and personality, embeds our purpose to deliver quality care and maintain strong relationships. Through years of experience Liz’s training style is exceptional and unique. She creates a relaxed environment and makes training and development fun and rewarding for all.

The Home Care Team award recognises the team for demonstrating a shared vision and goal for changing the face of ageing.  Through a combination of excellent communication and togetherness the team continuously work to a high standard and deliver excellent service to clients and CAREGivers alike.

Owners Anthea Pilkington & Irene Hough along with Team representatives are very much looking forward to the Gala Awards ceremony on Saturday 24th November at the Mercure Hotel in Manchester and we wish them the very best of luck.
