At Home Instead we are always keen to know how we're doing.

So much so that every year we commission Smith and Henderson, an independent polling organisation, to get in touch with a large number of our clients right across the country to see how they feel about us, the service they get from us and the CAREGiver who provides it. Not only that but we also ask Smith and Henderson to talk to our CAREGivers about how they feel about working for Home Instead.

A Nervous Wait

The process begins in April but it’s not until September that we find out how we did. Now the results are finally in and it was well worth the wait. Here are the headlines:

•    96% of clients would recommend Home Instead - up from 93% a year ago.
•    96% of our CAREGivers are proud to work for Home Instead - up from 90%.

Smith and Henderson also calculate something called a “Client Advocacy Score”. This measures how many of our clients would go out of their way to promote Home Instead to other friends, family or colleagues. For any business in any sector, a score of 50% is considered “world class”. This year Home Instead’s score was 65%.

I’m really proud to be part of an organisation that is so well regarded by both its’ clients and the key members of it's team.
