Home Instead is celebrating royal praise today on the very special occasion of Her Majesty's 90th birthday.

We’re proud to announce that Home Instead has received the Queen's Award for innovation - the UK's highest accolade for business success.

The innovation for which the Queen's Award was granted was our bespoke, relationship-led model of delivering care, which includes:

• Homecare visits that last a minimum of one hour.
• A focus on the value of companionship alongside practical help such as bathing and meal preparation.
• CareGivers and clients matched according to common hobbies and interests.

The Queen's Award also recognises the growth of Home Instead, brought to the UK by Sam and Trevor Brocklebank in 2005. It’s now become a network of 175 offices across the UK whose owners, ourselves included, are all united in one mission – to change the face of ageing.

Here in South Manchester, we’re immensely proud to be part of an organisation that’s been honoured with such a prestigious Award. We’d like to thank all our staff and particularly our team of talented, dedicated CareGivers. This award shows how their commitment is helping us to realise our mission.
